              I retained Kara ********************** with a $13000 retainer back in March. She didn't perform any work (nor billed me for any work). She would never respond to my emails asking for legal advice. She kept giving me deadlines that she never met. She even hanged up on me the last time I tried to call her. I left a VM but never heard back. She would disappear for weeks at a time while I desperately needed legal advice. Her assistant ****** kept giving me excuses to justify her behavior. She made my custody situation even more complicated than it was. I terminated our relationship back in July (certified mail as well as email) and I am still waiting for my retainer back and well as my case file. I am trying to resolve this through the BBB before putting a complaint with the State Bar of California. PS: upload button is not working and I am unable to upload documents
