In summer 2018, a was visiting Southern Sales and a light fixture fell on the floor. The bulb was broken and Southern Sales required me to pay $67.50 for the entire fixture. I contaced the office today 12/3/23, hoping to resolve this issue, and a lady from the office stated, you threatened us to sue. Yes. The answer is yes. A bulb was broken and Southern Sales made me pay for the the entire bathroom light. This company needs to take a look at themselves. I have purchased so many items from this company and this is how an African American lady is treated. The Jewish lady in the office was very rude. Yes. I deserve an apology and stated I was going to seek legal action against the company. I tried to pay for the light bulb which would have been fair. However, the company refused and made me pay for the entire light fixture which was a sample. I do not want to shop at this company again. However, for those who attend the auctions, please make sure you are not near any light fixtures without a representative. The women in the office are very rude and they need to replace them.

We are sorry that you do not agree/approve of our "break it; buy it" policy, but it is no different than the policies that are in place at other retailers.
