              New roof installed 11-13-2013 on my home with 20 year guarantee by Harview Roofing as per attached contract. Roof is showing significant wear for a 10 year old roof. . I worked with Joseph G******, president of Harview Roofing and filed a claim with *** for defective shingles on 4-20-23. The claim was denied. I notified Mr. G****** when the claim was denied by *** who then suggested that I file a claim against my homeowner's insurance for "storm damage". ******* ********* from **** ************ inspected the roof and determined that the defects are not from storm damage. **** ******* also inspected the roof and agrees with Mr. *********. Both companies stated that the roof defects are from defective *** shingles, a faulty installation or a combination of both. I contacted Mr. G****** with this information and requested that he work with *** to determine a fair resolution since *** denied my claim. Mr. G****** stated that he would contact GAF. I have spoken to my contact at *** and there has been no call from Harview Roofing regarding my claim. I have since attempted to contact Mr. G****** a number of times on his cell phone, via text, and via the company phone and have not received an answer. My contact person at *** is ******** **** and the Claim number is ********.

              I hired Harview Roofing to install roofing on 2 new houses I was building for my children. On both house's they didn't show when they said they would, it was always about another customer so Joe kept saying. I had to beg them to come back and seal up around the plumbing vents as they said they would do. They didn't show. Joe use foul language when he finally answered my call. Then he got mad because I was texting him to remind him of the promises he made to me. Joe G****** has the worse customer service attitude I have ever seen or gotten from a sub contractor. Joe does not speak the truth. It didn't matter that water was pouring in the house's around these pipe and would not come out, even after he promised they would to fix. I am not a builder, just a father trying to get his daughters house's seal up from the weather so we can finish them. I would never recommend this company to anyone. I am so disappointment.

              In response to this review, Mr. ****** was one of the most difficult customers I have ever had to deal with in my 40 years of being in business. As Mr. ****** stated he is not a builder, however Mr. ****** expected me to put other customers aside to get his projects done ahead of theirs knowing that we told him we need at least one week notice as we have other projects in progress. Mr. ****** was given dates when we could install his roof systems but was not happy. He would call, text me every 15 minutes being verbally abusive. The bottom line I went above and beyond to try and please him, even to the point when according to him his carpenters made two mistakes on the design of the one house and also according to him forgot to build a catwalk. Even so, I sent my guys back to make the framers design look the best it could with our roof system. Also I sent my guys back to install new shingles and flashing on the catwalk once it was built at no charge . In closing I was very surprised and disappointed in Mr. ******'s review. I truly felt that I did my best to please him in every way .
