I have a one bedroom condominium rental from a landlord nonprofit business in Rockville, MD.. My air conditioner and heater was over many visits November 2020 to January 2021: broken down completely to have only two completed repairs; one thermostat replacement for November 2020, then one heater pump to restore heating in January 2021. November 2020 on a broken air conditioner from August 2020 and January 2021 on a broken heater pump from October's first week of 2020. I had to use my full arm raised up and my hand; to turn on and off the heater EMERGENCY switch to both get rooms heated and control the force of blowing non-stop heat 10 to 12 times a day multiplied by all the days consecutively since November (plus 2, thirty degree nights in October) heat turn on in my building in 2020 through the replacement of the heat pump in mid-January 2021. Two items only replaced overall; over that long time in 30°F outside temperatures and when the heater was on as broken 87°F to 89°F blowing heat heights reached in 30 minutes averaged each turn on event. July 28, 2021 the air conditioning broke and the heater pump broke. The whole entire unit was replaced at the end of August 2021.

Mrs. *******, as we've stated on the last 3 reviews that you left for our Company, we are only able to do what your Property Managment Company and Landlord allow us to do. Once we found an issue with your system, we proposed a remedy and submitted it to them. We are not able to return or repair your system until they authorize us to do so.
The solution we offered was temporary until we could return to do the permanent repairs. It was an effort on our part to not leave you without heat. My apologies if it was too much of an inconvenience.
In an effort to make up for all of your hardship we were eventually able to make an agreement with your Landlord and Property Management Company to replace the entire unit at a discounted cost to avoid any future issues and reduce your utility bills.
I'm sorry that this has been such an inconvenience for you and I do understand your frustration, but again, this was out of our hands.
