I took my vehicle in for suspension repair. 1/18/2024 part of the repair was Steering tie rod ends. on both sides. When I retrieved my car on1/22/2024 and was leaving the parking lot and when I turned my steering wheel all the way to the right, I heard a grinding noise coming from my front passenger tire. I backed up, saw. A tech and the Service Advisor Jonathan ****** and informed them of the noise. The tech said it was from some work that I declined to get done. I told him I did not hear the noise prior to coming in for repairs. after some back and forth I took my vehicle in today 1/24/24 and found out the tech who did the repair Rodolfo ***** put the tie rod ends on the wrong side. the correction was made. However, I am not satisfied with the repair shop. I informed the Tech ***** and Service Advisor ****** I was not going to give a good review. ***** told me I could give him all zeros he did not care Service advisor Jonathan ****** told me ***** was joking, I did not see any humor in the situation, I paid $748.87 for the repairs. and trusted the repairs would be done right. I am not satisfied with the service, I am glad no damage was done to my vehicle from this mistake. I feel I should be compensated in some way for my time lost from work, and the careless workmanship done By Teck Rodolfo ***** who represents Meineke car care center. I will not take my car to Meinecke, again the only thing I want from them is a refund of $206.39 the cost of tie rod ends , and labor. the repair was not right. I had to take time off from work to get the admitted mistake fixed. I have been a customer since 2010. I am very disappointed. only a refund will make this right .Review from Danielle R

I brought my vehicle to this Meineke ( 5520 Baltimore Nat'L Pike Rt. 40, Catonsville, MD 21228) for service on March 1, 2023. I spoke to the Service Advisor and General Manager, Bernie Hogan, who quoted her a price of $618.50 to remove and replace the valve cover gasket. I soon found out oil was leaking from the gasket valve cover. I spoked with the Store Manager, Kenny ***** from Meineke. The manager told me the repairs was fixed by replacing the gasket with a new cover and tightened the bolts. Hover, when I got a diagnostic, the mechanic lifted the hood of the car, motor oil was on top of the gasket cover, on the bolts and leaking. Oil seeped into the sparks plug, causing the engine light to come on. I took my car back to Meineke on May 11, 2023 to service the repair. Kenny ***** advised me that he drilled and re-tapped the bolt holes that hold the valve cover down. I took my car to ******** ********* of Baltimore and the Service Advisor notified me of the following damages: Valve cover gasket replacement: to start: replace valve cover. Bolts installed not correct fasteners. Oil still leaking. Total Cost for Repair: $469.30. Cylinder Head Assembly: after removing the valve cover gaskets, they found after market bolts were sized to fit. Attempted to try time certs to fix the head and front cover, but was unsuccessful. The holes made for the larger bolts are too large. The cylinder head and front cover must be replaced. Total Cost for Repair: $6,805.97. ******** ********* advised me that my car is inoperable to the damages caused by Meineke’s negligence.
