      Powell and Turner did a very professional job installing my new water heater and Heat Pump. The installation was done in a timely manner and the team that did the installation was polite, worked well together, and respectful of both the inside and outside of my home. I was shown all the work that was done and how to operate the system. I have used Powell and Turner for all my HVAC maintenance for over 10 years and have always had an excellent experience with their knowledgeable technicians and staff. Thank you.

      Powell & Turner did not live up to the standards that I heard from Wayne when he was trying to sell his company to me. They installed 2 AC units and a heating unit on a Friday. Turned off my hot water heater and couldn't come back by Monday and wanted me to sign a waiver stating if they did not think it was due to their work, I would pay a service fee. It was due to their work! Had to come back within days of installation because the original work order was incompete and they did not complete the original work. First time using AC unit, it didn't work. They forgot to add freon. After using for a few months, water started dripping from ceiling and light fixture. They did not tighter or close off everything. Reparis from leak costs $2,200. Did not replace grates on unit; they told me they served no purpose. Now there is water coming in when it rains. I think a 1 star rating is generous.

      On Friday 2/26/21, we installed the 2 units. We received her message about no hot water on Monday morning 3/1/21 as she left the message over the weekend when we were closed. We came out that day and turned the gas back on at no charge. As we always mention to customers, if the issue is related to work that we did, there is no charge, however we always want the customer to be aware that there would be a fee if the issue was not related to the install as there have been times when this has occurred. The fee was mentioned to her at first, however once we saw that the gas valve had indeed been inadvertently left off, we turned it on at no charge. We came back on 3/8/21 to install the filter grill as it was not yet in stock at the Distributor at the time of the 2/26/21 install due to COVID causing backorders on several parts, however as soon as the Distributor received it in stock, we came right out and installed it for her. When she called in for no cooling on 6/8/21, we found that the unit was 1 pound low on refrigerant (it holds 7 pounds), and we added the 1 pound at no charge . On 7/2/21, we responded to the customer's request for water coming in. Upon arrival, our Technician saw a 3" water spot approximately 5" from the outside wall. He advised her that he can evaluate the reason for the water spot, however there would be a charge if he finds that the water issue was related to the roof or any non HVAC reason. The customer asked our Technician to leave. When a no cooling issue happened on 8/30/21, we found that there was a leak at the king valve on the unit, which we repaired at no cost and added required refrigerant, also at no cost. Since 8/30/21, we have not received any calls from the customer, and both units were operating properly at that last visit. We have always responded to her requests and scheduled an appointment within 48 hours. The units that we replaced are the exact same model as the original units and same grates as they are attached to the unit.
