Senior Citizen Programs


The Tri-State BBB Consumer Education Foundation offers educational materials and presentations to senior citizens. The program serves as a reference point to seniors and their caregivers, providing details about marketplace issues and schemes effecting their population specifically.

Focusing on specific issues, the Consumer Education Foundation communicates important information to seniors and their caregivers. Topics include the following: telemarketing, junk mail, sweepstakes offers, investment schemes, fraudulent Medicare offers, charitable giving, email scams, and funeral scams.


1.)To engage caregivers and train them to spot “red flags” associated with the above marketplace issues.
2.)Provide relevant information and resources senior citizens in the Tri-State area.
