DENVER, COLORADO–BBB serving Denver/Boulder is issuing a warning against local web design company Bludomain following a pattern of consumer complaints. In the past 3 years, consumers have submitted 37 reportable complaints against the Parker-based business. In March, BBB performed a file review of all complaints submitted against Bludomain, finding that the high volume of consumer complaints were primarily due to billing and customer service issues. Specifically, a high volume of complainants allege that the business does not send renewal notices before shutting down their websites, and that the business often sends incorrect bills altogether. In addition, consumers claim Bludomain is slow to correct these issues and often fails to respond to requests for refunds and services. Complainants also allege issues with the company’s product itself—many claim that the company’s website templates do not work as intended and sometimes go offline without any notice. Other consumers complain that when the company cancels an account, it fails to release the domain name associated with that account. Finally, some customers allege that the business does not properly register their domain names at all. Bludomain has failed to respond to 26 complaints in total. BBB has been unsuccessful in contacting the business or receiving complaint responses since March 2016. BBB’s recent file review prompted a request that in addition to responding to unanswered complaints, the business provide BBB with an action plan to address the underlying causes of complaints as outlined in the review. Bludomain, LLC has been delinquent under the Colorado Secretary of State since 2008. It was previously registered to a residential address in Parker. The business's BBB rating is currently an F.
