Each year the BBB Foundation offers a $10,000 scholarship to recognize high school juniors and seniors who personify and communicate ethics in the real world, as demonstrated through community service, personal integrity, and academic accomplishments. The scholarship will be awarded to the winning application submitted by a high school junior or senior residing in Alaska, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Washington, or Western Wyoming. Cameron Blegan, from University High School in Spokane, Washington, was the 2017 scholarship winner. “This scholarship has enabled me to focus on school and enriching my studies through on-campus activities, rather than having to spend time worrying about working just to afford college. Plus, I learned lots about the great things BBB NW is doing and how to better market an online video,” Blegan said. "Students should definitely consider applying as this is a great learning experience, a fun competition, and an amazing opportunity to pay for your college! Definitely glad I applied and can’t wait to see this year’s entries!" BBB has prepared a to-do list for students who would like to apply. Review the scholarship checklist.
