CHICAGO, IL – March 17, 2014 – Oliver Cooper IV will receive the Arbitrator of the Year Award from the Better Business Bureau serving Chicago and Northern Illinois (BBB) at the group’s 87th Annual Dinner Meeting on Thursday, March 20, 2014, at the Chicago Downtown Marriot. This award is presented to the BBB arbitrator who best exemplifies the qualities and skills in assisting people using the BBB Alternative Dispute Resolution Program. “As an arbitrator, Mr. Cooper has greatly assisted individuals and businesses come to fair and equitable agreements,” said Steve J. Bernas, president & CEO of the Better Business Bureau serving Chicago and Northern Illinois. Oliver Cooper IV has been with the arbitration program since 2011. His biggest accomplishment thus far is working on binding arbitrations and the ability to arbitrate over a wide range of Auto Line dispute cases.Cooperis an attorney in Chicago, IL. He’s a 2008 graduate of Chicago-Kent College of Law. Since graduating he has worked in numerous practice areas including international trade, procurement, hospital administration and arbitration.Cooper is an active volunteer in the community and has volunteered with several Chicago organizations including Coordinated Advice and Referral Program for Legal Services, Legal Assistance Foundation Chicago and Habitat for Humanity.He’s an avid traveler, having been to over 30 countries and living in five.
