    On March 30, 2021, I bought an Acura Certified pre-owned 2018 Acura TLX, Tech pkg, with only ***** miles; VIN: *****************. It was still under factory warranty.This past June 28th, I had a problem with the BATTERY. I called Fox Acura dealership service department to let them know about such problem to get warranty on the Acura OEM 100 months limited warranty battery. Even when they knew that my car still had Factory Warranty they proceeded to deny coverage, stating that since the vehicle had changed ownership to me, the Factory Warranty was automatically void and lost.Therefore, this past July 7th, I had to buy a $130.93 battery and have it installed on my 2018 Acura certified pre-owned TLX. At which time my car only had ****** miles.I called Acura headquarters and they said stated my car still qualified for the full factory warranty because it had less than ****** miles and the fourth year of ownership had not expired.I just want to make a formal complaint against Fox Acura of El Paso, TX., due to their failure to honor my Acuras factory warranty. They were very unprofessional and unethical, taking advantage of me as their customer; something that should of never happened.

    On Tuesday May 04, 2021 I took my 2019 Acura RDX to be serviced for a factory recall. I dropped off my vehicle first thing in the morning around 0745. When I picked up my vehicle later that day in the afternoon and when I got home, I noticed that was windshield was cracked on the passenger side all the way from the top to the bottom where the windshield is. I called the service department and as per their service manager, I took my vehicle back so she can look at the windshield. Immediately she stated that my windshield had indications that a rock hit it and that it probably happened on my way home. I told her not is not the case because if a rock had hit it on the way home I would have heard the hit and seen the crack. She went on to say that it is my responsibility to inspect my vehicle before I leave the service area and make sure their is no damage. I asked her to show me that in writing since there are no signs of this policy posted anywhere in the service area. She tried to find it on her computer but she was unable to. She told me that one of her service advisors would be able to print it out for me but that she was out to lunch and that she was not going to bother her during her lunch hour. I told her, what kind of customer service is this by having a customer wait. She then told me in an aggressive tone of voice and by pointing her finger, you can go wait in the customer lounge area and if you don't want to wait, you need to leave now. I again told her what kind of customer service is this. I told her that the previous service manager was more customer oriented and friendlier. she replied by saying in an aggressive tone "well, go find him, where is he"? "that's why he is not here anymore. I told her I have no choice but to come here since this is the only Acura dealership in El Paso, She replied, "well there is one in Albuquerque". I interpreted that as her telling me if I don't like the service here, to go somewhere else. I asked her again that I need a print out of the customers responsibility when picking up their vehicles and again she replied in an aggressive tone, "you can either wait or you need to leave". She told me she can email it to me but I told her I need a hard copy right now. I left without the policy in hand. When I got home I wrote an email to their general manager explaining what happened. She replied and basically stated they are not responsible for my windshield being cracked. According to her, they were not responsible and again insisted that it happened on the way home. She concluded by telling me that I can always look to find another place to have my vehicle serviced. This pretty much tells me that they don't care about customers. Their motto on their website states "from the moment you step into our modern showroom, you'll be treated like part of our automotive family-we wouldn't have it any other way". ************************************************* Thank you.
