I booked a move with Two Men and a Truck on in April, 2023. When booking the move, I inquired about having my belongings picked up on June 1st, stored overnight, and then moved into my new place on June 2nd. The representative I spoke to said they could store my things in the truck overnight for free and was the reason I decided to book my move with Two Men. When it was time to move everything went smoothly, but when it was time to sign off with the movers I noticed there was an additional 4 hours being charged. When I pointed this out to the mover he said it was because they had to unload my belongings into a storage unit on June 1st and then load them back onto the truck on June 2nd. I was not informed this was going to be the case when I booked my move, nor was it mentioned in my moving quote. Unfortunately, the movers themselves had another move to get to and were impatient, so I signed off on the hours thinking I would take it up with head office afterwards. I did not receive a copy of the hours or invoice at this time. When I spoke to the customer rep, *******, he claimed no one would have told me they would store my belongings in the truck overnight and they should not be held accountable. I asked for a copy of my final invoice and the moving quote (they use an online system which makes it impossible to get a copy after you approve the move). ******* said he would send it to me but has not yet done so. Follow up emails and phone messages have been ignored.
