Could negative stars be awarded? Stay away from Yardly. They are very good at taking your money but do not deliver on their promised service. We waited over 72 hours for our snow to be removed. They showed up at 8:15pm, used only a power sweeper on all the tramped on snow that had now melted into ice and didn't even do all the contracted sidewalks. Sprinkled a handful of ice melt which they ripped open the bag and left open to the elements. Never showed up when the next snowfall happened. I cancelled our contract via email, since they do not answer their phone, nor respond to emails. When I finally was able to reach them, I got pass around and then was told they were going off shift and would get their finance department to call me the next day. Yup ... you guessed it, I haven't heard from them at all and now are dealing with my credit card company to get a disputed claim to get my money back.Review from Tim S

As many before me have experienced, Yardly charged my credit card but has never showed up to service the lawn. Many unanswered phone calls and emails. I see the owners (************************* and ***** Song) have recently sold the company and moved on to another scam. If you have money to burn then this is the company to send it to.Review from S. D

Yardly's snow removal is abysmal, unreliable, and incomplete. Their crew do a hurried, haphazard job, and the head office doesn't seem to care about customer service. They say that the customer gets 100% satisfaction, but this is far from the truth. Calls to their phone number are rarely answered - just go to voicemail which is never returned. Emails are ignored, or promises for better service made but not consistently followed through on. They are not interested in providing a quality service and ignore customer complaints. Their crews do a shoddy job the majority of the time unless ridden constantly. Don't be suckered in by slick advertising on their website. You will be disappointed. I'd give negative stars if I could. Stay away.Review from Shelagh I

After the snowstorm in January 2022 which had record snowfall I fully expected delays in my service. I never expected no service. Email and phone calls to no avail. Finally I hired another service 4 days after the end of the storm to clear my drive and the giant windrow at the end of the drive. Now Yardly is telling me that a plow serviced my property on January 19 at 1019PM. This is blatantly untrue. I checked at 11 PM on January 19 and then again in the morning of the 20th. Maybe the GPS in their truck says it came to my property but no plowing was done. I have cancelled my service and have asked for a refund for the month of January. NO JOY.Yardly Inc Response

I previously left a 5 Star rating and this last time they came they didn’t shovel an obvious section of the sidewalk. They did half and quit. The wheelchair would not be able to go through the snow.Yardly Inc Response

Yardly is a company that "takes orders" for lawn cleanup and maintenance and then "farms out" the work to it's crews or personnel. They charged my credit card IN ADVANCE of the service - approximately $275 - the person shows up and refuses to do the service, citing dog waste in the backyard as a reason not to do the service. I explained to him that he was looking at earth cores left from last years cleanup, where aeration of the lawn takes plugs of soil out of the lawn and leaves them on the surface to be mulched into the ground. He did not believe me. Left without any explanation. Called the company - he cited "their policy" which is "no refunds" without a 48-hour cancellation notice. Yet, the same company reserves the right to reschedule/cancel on you for any reason, the most obvious of which is poor weather. So - pay in advance - no service - and no refunds. Buyer beware! This kind of poor, unethical business practice might be a sign of the times in 2021, or it might just be the Yardly business model. I don't know, Had to call my bank to stop further charges on my card and had to contact them to revoke authorization.Yardly Inc Response

Hi Peter, thank you for your feedback. Our customers feedback and satisfaction is of the utmost importance to us. Regarding your concerns, all of our Yardly Pros are hired and trained by Yardly. For the Spring Clean-Up, we do ask that pet waste is removed from the property prior to the service, if it is not removed then we do reschedule it for a later date once the customer has been able to remove the pet waste. Had you chosen not to cancel, we would have happily scheduled a revisit so that our Yardly Pro could verify if it was indeed earth cores and not pet waste. While our cancellation policy does clearly state that we require 2 days notice, we did still refund the full amount for this Spring Clean Up. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any further questions or feedback!
