BEWARE ! Initial experience was decent, if slow, but when we recently learned that corners were cut with the heating system (lack of glycol in the radiant heat system could have been catastrophic) ***** was argumentative at first, then stopped answering calls and email completely. I could have accepted a compromise, or collaborative solution, but ‘ghosting’ your customers is unprofessional and cowardly.

Chris and *******, First, you’ve been in possession of the home for two and a half years when you contacted me this April. In that time, I’ve gotten two emails from you regarding a defective pump in the heating system. Both times I passed that information on to my plumbers, didn’t hear anything further from you at all. At no point have you given any indication that the heating system had ongoing issues. My plumbers warranty everything for two years, and you have a responsibility to inform me and follow through if there’s an issue. Second, you knew from the beginning that the system was all water. This is common for residential applications. Had we opted to add a glycol system, the costs would have been over and above what you paid anyway, because it was a cost plus contract. I am willing to be part of the conversation, as I expressed this spring and again a few days ago to you, but I am certainly not prepared to provide a blank check on something that clearly has not been a priority for you over the entire warranty period, and also would not have been my cost to bear even if it had been included when we built the home.
