      MetCredit started calling my mobile number and from a number from a number that does not match any of the numbers on their websited and the message includes a hot link to an account number. Being suspicious, I went to the ******************** website and contacted them informing them of my suspicions, the number the calls were originating from and and account number. I also agreed to accept communication from MetCredit. I received an acknowledgement email on 26Jan and no further communication via email since then. Then the calls started up again. I called the ******** office number for MetCredit and was sent to voicemail. I then called the ********* office where someone had the courtesy to answer the phone. I was told that a MetCredit was pursuing a deliquent account from 2022 which matched my name and date of birth. When I questioned the MetCredit rep if they felt this was sufficient information to make the assumption that the issue was mine, I was informed that this is all they need to do. After haranguing the representative further it was revealed that they also had an email address (not mine) and a street address (also not mine). The MetCredit rep referred me to the manager who also did ****************** about name and date of birth being sufficient. After further animated discussion he revealed that they had even more information about the deliquent party (company name, etc.) and when pressed revealed that MetCredit, without doing their own homework had obtained my phone number from another agency that matched my city of residence and name. The upshot of all of this was an apology from the MetCredit manager. Clearly MetCredit do not perform a professional level of due diligence when pursuing deliquent accounts, but it appears there are not regulations in place to govern this type of negligence?

      They will false report to credit union without understanding any facts for no reason, I was out of country and I did not have ******** credit cards. I mentioned i will come back and make payment of mere 115 dollars from ****** which i have no idea what they charging for or they are When i came back I make the payment and they have put it through credit bureau I mean come on you have to have some realistic expectations the person will make the payment once they first verify who they are they can be spammers site how I would know. This is nonsense there should be atleast 3 months before you submit to bureau and also I still need to verify with ****** if any payments are pending as they have closed the account long time back if there was pending payment they should have called me directly. So annoyed. 0 star company met credit company.

      We appreciate your circumstances however your comments are invalid and do not reflect the history of your account. We attempted to contact you by mail, email, phone and SMS since July 12, 2023 when your account was assigned to us. Your phone number was not in service. After three months to reach you without response, the account was reported to your credit record on October 2, 2023. This was 2.5 months prior your first conversation with our office on December 19, 2023.

      I was informed of monies owing for a ****** Communications bill that was looked after in a bankruptcy in 2010. I was also harassed for over a year by another collections agency and BBB looked after that complaint. I received an apology letter. It seems ****** has decided to contract another agency to collect what they didn't get through the bankruptcy. This harassment must stop. My discharge was in 2011. I haven't had a ****** account since 2010.

      i was informed about a charge from comwave that has been put on my credit rating. when i first heard about it i informed them that the account was not me. they suggested i file a police report which i did and still they are harassing me, my question is why was this not picked up buy the company COMWAVE before it got this far how can you just put someones name on an account and then when its not paid you can destroy their credit . i am being made a scapegoat for someone that is not doing their due dilignece on their job. I have never dealt with COMWAVE and met credit is perpetuating this fraud even more//IT IS NOT MY JOB TO DO THEIRS

      Rude agents, do not listen. They talk over you. GASLIGHTING CLIENTS to the point that they make you think that you are lying to them when you are not. They give you less than 5 hours to pay. Threaten lawsuits - and them taking you to court if you don't listen to them. Refusal to give you copies of the conversations even though they record them. Anyone with inadequate mental health would think they are going to jail for their behaviour; upon reviewing the company, I can see that many people have experienced insanity. They break many of the collection laws for anyone looking within their province. FYI, they are only allowed to call you 3 times a week. Again, they break this. They also lie about email communication, which they can do but say they can't, so they don't have anything in writing.

      I'm getting calls from this company for ***********************************. Which is not me. They seem to be data mining peoples information from numbers they call. I am assuming they are selling that information to make a profit from it. Effectively extortion.

      I was a single mother when a shyster gladly signed a contract with me and took my money in regards to a joint venture agreement but would not pay it back...MetCredit saved the day. 14 years ago that ******* stopped paying and thought he got away with ripping me off. Well, I am smarter than that and I took the matter to court on my own. However, even after a judgement in my favor I still could not get him to pay. So, I hunted for a debt collector (trust me, I was on the verge of handing him over to "those bad guys" but my husband suggested I do not do that because he loves me.)So, it's been in the hands of Met Credit for no more than 5 year. They got my seed money back and being that a family member now has Cancer and that money was so badly needed, it's even more important. So, these low ratings...are from shyters (except those who might have ended up with the shysters phone number - psst change your phone number!) My rating is from the other side. That pestering....paid off. I am grateful. I have learned alot (like always ask for collateral). Thank you Met Credit!

      Ive been getting numerous calls from Metcredit all completely different numbers and asking for someone that isnt me. Tried explaining it to one of them but it was like talking to a brick wall then they got hostile and now I get 5+ calls a day and multiple text messages from them. This is legit harassment that doesnt even involve me I have 0 debt to be collected cause I have none so stop spamming my phone with your false claims about x amount owed
