The BBB Ambassador mission is to provide ongoing membership contact to help promote retention and encourage member involvement, to welcome and assist BBB Accredited Businesses at meetings and / or events, and to promote BBB Accreditation following the guidelines of the BBB Ambassador Code of Ethics.
BBB Ambassadors are an informed group of motivated, enthusiastic and articulate businessmen and women who serve as the backbone of the BBB’s membership retention program. They represent BBB at many civic and social functions.
The most essential function of an Ambassador is to represent BBB in a positive way. Therefore, a successful Ambassador will be positive, motivated, outgoing and professional. A genuine appreciation and understanding of BBB’s Mission and Vision are also key to an Ambassador’s success. The ability to deliver a clear message and good listening skills are crucial. Further, a competitive spirit and an impeccable reputation in the community are important qualities of a BBB Ambassador.
