We purchased 2 recliners to match or section on Sat 7/9. My husband picked them up at warehouse and they were wrapped in heavy plastic, When he got home and he and our neighbor unloaded them in living room, very gently and no dropping! The first one was pulled apart in the bottom leg and the material was press board and staples not Wood or nails , like our other laZ boy furniture! We were disappointed to say the least! We tried to repair it our Selves but it did not hold! We had 3 days to return so I called Tues 7/12 to let them know! They agreed to return them by 5pm, when my husband arrived the Manager accused him of dropping the furniture and he assured her it was not, she called him a liar! We have good ********* people and have been ver good customers of this particular store! She finally told him he would have ti pay $200 for the repair before she would take them back! This is wrong and a violation of the 3 day return policy! Not to mention an unprofessional way to handle customers!

This customer returned 2 recliners back to our store on Wednesday 7-13-22. When the customer picked up the chairs on Saturday ****** our staff in the back let each and every customer inspect the chairs before they leave the stores. When the wrap goes on these chairs, we put a heavy plastic wrap over each chair. After the wrap goes over the chair we flip the chair forward and we tape the wrap from the bottom to hold the wrap on. If the arm was busted at this time it would have been seen from everyone standing there. The bottom of the chair while this is being taped is facing the associate and the customer while it is taped taping. When he brought the chairs back the wrapping was torn on the side that the arm was broken and the wrap had not been taken off until we took it off here at the store. I will send pictures as well showing you what i took the day they were returned.Review from Lucy

The top grain cowhide leather living room set that I purchased for thousands of dollars was constructed with such inferior dye that the leather discolored within 2 years of purchase. The extended insurance/warranty that I bought considered it discoloration not a stain which would have been covered.. It didnt make sense to me that there is a difference between discoloration and a stain. I was told that I didnt wash the leather often enough and that you would have to wash your leather every few days to avoid discoloration. It seems to me to be a fault with the brown dye LaZBoy uses to treat the leather that they use. Two years of use is way too short for the amount of money I was charged. If I had been told at the store that I would have to wash the leather every few days I would never have bought the leather furniture. Every piece of care literature that I received with the furniture never mentioned the daily or weekly washings. When I called the local retailer they said there was nothing they could do. When I called the insurance company they said it was not covered. When I called the LaZBoy corporate office they said there was nothing they could do. Now I have a complete set of top grain leather living room furniture that is ruined after less than two years of use. I would recommend not buying the extra insurance because they will deny the claim and I would think twice about buying LaZBoy furniture. It is not the quality furniture that you are led to believe.
