    My vehicle was towed to Jack O Diamonds on 7/12/23 for a problem with the transmission. I had booked an appointment previously for 7/18/23. They started working on the vehicle on 7/18/23. It needed new parts which were ordered and placed on the vehicle on 8/3/23 - 8/4/23. The service technician attempted to drive the vehicle after the repair to ensure the parts that were ordered had fixed the problem. The truck was unable to be driven - I was told that there would need to be more repairs or possibly a transmission replacement. I am filing this complaint on 9/27/23. It has been 7.5 weeks and my vehicle has not moved. It is still sitting outside on their lot. Absolutely nothing has been done since 8/4/23. My service advisor, Pam, keeps telling me that “they don’t know when they will get to it”. They have mentioned that they are working on another transmission but it has been 7.5 weeks of absolutely no progress on my vehicle. I have called both my service advisor and the director of the service department. I have gotten nowhere with them. They just keep giving me excuses as to why they haven’t done anything. I have asked for a rental car. They have not provided one. My vehicle is a Ford truck. It has a Ford warranty. I chose Jack O Diamonds because I knew they serviced Ford. I was initially impressed by my service advisor, Pam. However, she rarely calls me back when she says she will and she never has a clue about what is going on in the shop and why my truck hasn’t been worked on. I am disgusted by Jack O Diamonds and their lack of care or concern. My truck has been at their shop for over 70 days. It still isn’t fixed and is still sitting outside. I still don’t have a loaner car through them. It seems as though there is no end in sight and that Jack O Diamonds doesn’t care. I want Jack O Diamonds to fulfill their legal obligations to fix my truck according to the warranty.

    I took my wife's 2017 Honda Pilot with 85k miles in because the engine was surging. The person that wrote up my service ticket told me that the transmission would possibly need flushing. They said it would be $210 if the warranty didn't cover it or nothing else was wrong. So I asked if the diagnosis fee off $120 was waived if the transmission needed flushing & they said yes. The service writer (different person that checked me in) called me & told me to flush the transmission (triple flush) it would be approximately $350. I sounds like a bait & switch game. They them put the service manager on the ********** said it needed the triple transmission flush. I told that isn't what I was told. He checked & said it sounded like miscommunication. He did ask me what would make me happy, I told him I would pay $250 for the triple transmission ********** agreed. When I went to pickup my car, the advisor said the brakes needed replaced & it would be $600 if I wanted to use them. They also said the windshield wipers needed replaced & I said I just replaced them 2 weeks ago. Please make sure if you use JOD Honda, to make sure you have a clear communication with them before having repairs done!

    We apologize for any miscommunication or lack of info given before your vehicle was diagnosed for the transmission concern however that is why we honored the original price quoted. The multiple point inspection report reflected the wipers were checked in green an for whatever reason the system flagged it yellow an showed replacement recommended. This was a software issue we have now corrected and do apologize for the confusion. My understanding is **** has now addressed these concerns and will resolve any other concerns you may have
