I paid an enormous amount of money over $40,000, including amounts for items I never received. . I paid for a new garage door,, service door and ***** vents. . The owner lied, charged me the price of a brand new garage door only to put my old door back up. He said the company changed the same price either way but when doing research, I found out that was complete lie. I got the service door but they never put the door handle on. Never got proper ***** vent covers. I paid for actual covers, they put big blocks of ugly metal blocks, so unsightly I had them remove them. As I paid for vent covers not blocks of metal.Aside from what I did not get they cut my chimney up all wrong and they just covered the mistake with ugly black stuff. The owner bullied me into adding tons of wood that was not necessary, The weight obviously too heavy for the house. Not caring that they put vents in the gutter line that have caused a huge divot in the roof and the edge shingles are warped and wrinkled already. Gutter line vents are not something I have saw any other company do. The crew drilled a huge hole in my garage floor, they didn't fill in with cement and my concern was met with "Your garage is a piece of s*** anyway". The crew also left pounds of debris in my attic. Causing other problems..The company didn't honor the contract. Terrible company. Complete waste of money.

I'm sorry you feel we didn't satisfy you to the terms of our agreement. You were given the option to either replace the garage door or reuse the existing. We had both agreed to save you the several hundred dollar difference. The garage door company we hired charge the same amount to remove and reinstall your garage door as an labor charge. The labor charge would have been the same from them if you were to purchase the new one. You were never charge for a new door only the labor to remove and reinstall. The ***** vents needed to be eliminated to meet building code as leaving them would be incorrect ventilation with your new ridge vent. We installed **************** to act as your intake ventilation to meet building code. If the ***** vents were left functioning your attic ventilation would not meet building code or shingle manufacturers specifications. To cover them we use aluminum (your house has aluminum siding currently) this was the best solution to blocking off the air flow from your ***** vents. If we had removed them completely then we would of needed to put new unmatched aluminum siding that would have looked much worse. I never bullied you into adding tons of wood...During my inspection prior to our contract signing it was clear that your roof on the house was rotted in several areas. Not only did this need to be repaired it was noted you had "planking" 1" boards that not only were rotted in areas the gap between the boards was not a sufficient nailable surface for the new roofing. Building code and manufacturer specifications require "a solid sheathed surface" to nail the new roofing to. If we would have never done anyone of this a roof could've never been installed. The wood on your garage was completely rotted through and not even safe to walk on. It was necessary as you know to replace this wood as well.I reluctantly agreed to assist you with your garage door and service door as you garage was caving in literally. In order to fix your roof I agreed to help with the doors. I personally came to your house prior to you paying me and I was there to put on your door k*** You had insisted on doing it yourself for some reason. The "ugly black stuff" is chimney counter flashing, in order for your chimney not to leak this had to be installed. We did correct the size of this for you to cover some of the old flashing "reglets" and caulking. This type of material is standard practice and is on every brick chimney you would see on someone elses home.Looking back 3 years ago from our first meeting you had told me you couldn't get a contractor to work on your home. I was the only one who looked past the reasons why you couldn't get someone to show up to do any work. Your house was neglected for 30 years or more, the garage should have been torn down. We did our best considering the circumstances we were challenged with, I even recall have many conversations with your conservator. I take pride in the 27 years in business and our A+ rating with BBB, we work very hard to please everyone of our clients concerns. In the this case we did not meet our clients expectations. I have no excuses, but in my defense this review is very much not what happened. I never lied to the client and we fulfilled our agreement in full. We offer a 10 year workmanship guarantee on all of our work, and if there is anything that would need to be fixed I'd gladly make that happen quickly. If I could post all of the pictures of before and after of all of the work that we did one would see that this client is incorrect.
