Big Picture Loans is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tribal Economic Development Holdings, LLC, a wholly owned and operated economic arm and instrumentality of the Lac Vieux Desert Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians (“Tribe”), a federally recognized sovereign Indian tribe. As a sovereign nation, the Tribe has enacted laws allowing for and regulating consumer finance transactions in which the Company engages, and therefore, is not subject to state law.
