We had water damage due to ice. The cleanup company, referred us to All Points const. We needed drywall repair, molding replacements on 3 floors of our home, and a new window sill/casing made, paint and finish trim done. From the 1st day of work I knew we had made a terrible mistake. The drywall repairs from the 1st day were done so poorly, I took pictures and sent them to other companies to get advice. Our house had been torn up and unliveable for 70 days due to insurance issues and I really just wanted the work completed. So the next day when I confronted the workers, they said thats how drywall is done and it wouldn't matter that there were large gaps and that they had used crushed drywall, since they would be mudding over it anyway, when I asked about the Integrity of this repair, using broken drywall, I was asked by the Forman, should he just talk to my husband instead, because maybe he would understand!!! Unfortunately I didnt follow my instincts, and I allowed the job to continue! By the 3rd day, it was clear to me that the people they had contracted out to paint my home needed to be fired! I repeatedly told them not to approach my dog, which I kept locked in a bedroom while they were here, because he is elderly And losing his sight due to a recent stroke, and is very protective of strangers being in our house. 3 different times one of the painters grabbed my dog around his neck, as I was trying to take him outside to use the bathroom, and said he wasnt scared of dogs. By the end of that day I went around the entire kitchen where they had started painting and was in total shock. They had gotten paint all over my back splash, dripped all down my cupboards, on my Granite counters, My brand New Microwave, and Range Hood, even on my window! There was not a straight sharp line Anywhere!! It looked like a child had painted my kitchen. The molding around my oak cupboards, was completely overlapped with grey paint. He actually painted right over 3 push pins, that were left up from xmas decor. I called the Foreman, and sent him pictures of what I had found. The next day he came into my house and walked through with me, and at one point, he had pointed out that a hallway, that I had painted myself a year ago, was "just as messy as the job his guys did"! My response was "I am not a Paid Professional painter Sir!!" He told his own painters that their work "Looked like a God damn 3rd grader had done it" He assured us that his guys Never do a bad job like this and that they would fix everything. The next day i went into my kitchen after they had finished "Fixing" everything, and realized they had gone back over my cabinets and tried to scrape the paint off of the trim molding, resulting in gouges in both my ceiling and the wood trim, and On top of it, he left the paint scrapings all over the place, It was inside my espresso maker, ruined 3 Yankee candles, all of my coffee cups that sat in a display, were filled with scrapings. I quickly sent pictures to the Forman I had been dealing with, and told him not to bother coming back to my home! I gave this company WAY more than enough chances to make things right. In our den, they had pieced together a set of moldings in the corner, that is the most ridiculous looking mess Ive ever seen. They also dripped white primer all down the front of my red brick fireplace, and my hardwood floors!! I wish I could add photos to this review, You wouldn't believe what you were seeing!
