I had a roof installed on my home by Cutting Edge Restorations on 10/23/2019, which was not exactly satisfactory, however after several calls and complaints directly to the owner, *******, they were resolved. His crew destroyed one of our bushes, which he replaced, and multiple trips to my home were made to clean up roofing nails. however to this day, I am still finding them. To present day, the reason for this complaint, I have noticed a water spot on the ceiling of one of our bedrooms, which became wet to the touch after a recent series of hard rains. this spot on the ceiling is almost directly below our furnace vent/chimney. I called ****************** on 10/25/21 to alert him of the spot, hoping he would "do the right thing" and inspect and repair the damage. he said he would create a work order and have his repair guy get in touch with us. I called ****************** again on 10/27 and 10/28 as both days I recieved no calls. this last call I complained to him about the poor support I was receiving and he blamed it on *****************. I ended this phone call with no resolution, but more excuses. I waited until 11/5 before calling him again, practically begging him to inspect my home. Finally on 11/8 he came, without calling to confirm, and got on the roof to inspect and caulk. My wife who was home, let ******* know I was 5 minutes from home and that I would like to talk to him and have him inspect the inside, he then sped up his work and left just as i was pulling up the driveway. I quickly called him before he left my neighborhood. he first gave the excuse that he was late for another job, although he only did part of this job for me. when i mentioned that he needed to inspect the inside damage, he again said its not a good idea due to his wife having COVID. if this was true, he exposed my pregnant wife to it because he was unmasked and talking beside her. I told him we were vaccinated, and he simply said he would not return. all i want for is my roof and ceiling to be repaired.
