Plzzz someone help.... *I have a extended warranty through ********************.*I changed my waterpump in Sept 2022 (they should last for at least ****** miles)So middle of January I noticed my car was smoking and what appeared to be leaking coolant. I took my car to ********* in Woodhaven. They did a diagnostic test. ********* does not accept ********************. So I took the car home and paid for the test. I called around and I found a place that would accept my warranty. *********: ?Valve Cover Assembly ?Coolant line x2?Oil lines to Turbo?Oil lines from ********** Fitting?Oil Filter Housing?Remove and ****************** Cooler And gave me a price of $ ******** after about 2 weeks I get a call stating that unfortunately ******************** is only covering my Water Pump (I replaced in Sept) and that I would be responsible for the rest out of pocket. We agreed upon $1400.00 Service man ensured me that my car would be fixed and no more leaks or smoke. Great! Three days later my phone rings and its the service man again. They completed the job. However they found another leak and it's to the turbo? if I don't replace it my cars still going to smoke and leak He states that my oil lines to the turbo needs to be replaced to and from. That it's an additional $500.00/600.00 Baffled and confused I got off the phone and did not authorize the charge. This is when I informed him of the ********* findings. And I am confused as to what they did to my Car and why it cost me $1400.00 and it still smokes and leaks. So the guy couldn't really give me any details (this is the manager) he didn't understand why or how this happened. But wanted to talk to the guy that originally was helping me. *** states unfortunately they didn't see it and there's nothing they can do. Basically pay up or don't. My car is not fixed and still has the same exact problems. THEY TOOK MY MONEY - I can personally see the leak and I don't know much about cars- complete rip off

************** We apologize that you feel the way you do, and if we were in a similar situation we may have felt the same. Unfortunately, the situation is a bit more complex than the explanation you provided. When the vehicle came into service we did not know anything about the diagnostic repair quote from ********* from 30 days prior. All our team could go by is the current condition of the 2011 Chevrolet Cruze with ******* miles, the diagnostic information we could obtain from the computer systems, and a large number of leaks throughout the whole engine compartment. The vehicle was diagnosed as needing the water pump replaced along with other leaks. The pump would not hold pressure so it most definitely needed to be replaced. Upon diagnosing the issue we contacted ******************* for them to approve the repairs. The company sent out an inspector to review the claim and they denied all the claims due to everything being a preexisting condition prior to purchasing the warranty. The company ultimately agreed to pay for the pump as a "goodwill" gesture even though they felt strongly that they should pay for nothing as the evidence pointed to purchasing a warranty to try and pay for conditions that existed prior.Upon completing the repair for the pump and other items you approved, we were finally able to pressurize the system. Unfortunately once the pressure was able to be maintained the leaks at the turbo became evident as well. These leaks were not evident at all, nor were they able to be seen due to the lack of pressure in the system. The fact that the other items needed to be repaired and replaced are not mutually exclusive to the turbo line concern. In fact, it would have been much more feasible if we would have known all the information upfront so we could have visually inspected those items prior to contacting your warranty company. Upon a deeper visual inspection the leak may or may not have been seen, but at least it could have been analyzed for leaks, since the system could not function as designed with the other broken parts. The dealership stands committed to helping you with a discount but we would need the vehicle and approval to proceed in order to offer any additional pricing discount.

I have to disagree. in fact your service man actually lied to my face. First after questioning what else needed to be done, He told me "Turbo feed lines" then straight to my face said it was "coolant feed lines" complete lie. My water pump was replaced September 7th 2022- you know as well as I do there was nothing wrong with my water pump. I have had the extended warranty for over three years. I had a transmission replaced using my warranty. Yes, the insurance laped and I did not have extra coverage for almost 4 months and the car sat. I had no check engine light on, I had nothing indicating I had multiple leaks. The day it started smoking is the day I took it to ********** That is neither here nor there. Why would I mention ********** it was 30 days and you are the dealership auto shop. On February 13th when you called to inform me of the cost and what needed to be done I am not sure why I wasn't informed of the turbo line? $1,400- and $2,100 are a big difference to a single mother. I drove home March 15th and by the time I got home my car was smoking and leaking the same reason I brought it in!!! I am not a mechanic but if your mechanic did infact inspect the car could have seen the leak. Everything else was extra. So help me to understand that?! I paid ******* for what? because you ultimately did NOT fix my car instead you replaced things I did not need replaced. Sure it might have been old- but did NOT need to be replaced at the time. I just needed turbo coolant lines. The manager **** was absolutely NO help. I was even told by your service guy " We hook the car to a machine and it tells us whats wrong, that's what we fix" So your mechanic never takes a look? it was a bad experience all around. I will never use your business again for ANYTHING. I want everyone to be aware of the fraudulent tactics your company pulls. So nobody I know ever has to deal with what I dealt with. I have never taken a car to a shop and paid to have repairs and leave with the same issues. its all BS! you took advantage of me. Instead of making the situation right- your service men did absolutely the opposite.
