DENVER, COLORADO — BBB is issuing a warning after receiving multiple complaints through ScamTracker that have led to an investigation of Revision Skis Inc., a Littleton-based wholesale and manufacturing business.
BBB has had a file associated with Revision Skis, Inc. since January 17, 2017, although no registration under this name exists with the Colorado Secretary of State and BBB could not identify any principal for the business.
Revision Skis, Inc. lists its address as 8601 W Cross Drive F5 #145, Littleton, CO 80123. BBB confirmed that this is a PakMail PO Box which does belong to Ski Revisions, Inc. The business operates a website and lists its phone number as 720-608-0251, which is a Google Voice number.
Between February 2 and June 19, 2017, BBB has received seven complaints on ScamTracker regarding Revision Skis, Inc. In the majority of these complaints, customers allege that skis they ordered online from Revision Skis, Inc. were never delivered. Reported losses ranged from $300 to $750.
Most complainants claim they received an initial email from Revision Skis, Inc., explaining that the delivery of their skis would be delayed, yet months later still had not received their orders. Customers describe receiving $100 online coupons from the company as an apology, although these coupons were unusable because there was no way to redeem them.
One complainant describes contacting Revision Skis, Inc. in December 2017, to cancel his or her order upon learning that it would not be delivered on time. The complainant claims to have received a response from the company confirming this cancellation. However, the skis were delivered in February 2017 (the customer’s order had been placed the previous September) and the customer was never refunded.
Another complainant claims to have received email updates saying that his or her skis had been shipped, and later that they had been scheduled for delivery, but that the skis never came.
Complainants allege that Revision Skis, Inc. has been unresponsive to their contact. Most describe receiving only generic emails in response to their repeated inquiries, even in the case of one customer who specifically requested a personalized response. Complainants say they were unable to reach the business by phone.
BBB sent notification to Revision Skis, Inc. concerning the pattern of complaints on May 25 and June 6, 2017, but has received no response.
Complainants requested that Revision Skis, Inc. provide refunds for orders that were never completed.
