BBB serving Denver/Boulder is pleased to congratulate Warren Village for being the January Nonprofit of the Month. Warren Village has successfully broken the cycle of homelessness for over 4,403 single-parent families in the community since 1974 when citizens and business professionals saw an influx in the number of single parent families struggling to subsist. Single parents living at Warren Village are dedicated to improving their lives and creating a better future for their children and themselves.
Warren Village has been a BBB Accredited Charity since 2007, meeting all 20 Standards for Charity Accountability. Warren Village won the BBB Torch Award for Marketplace Trust in the nonprofit category in 2011.
BBB Serving Denver/Boulder charity review program was developed to help donors make informed giving decisions and to promote high standards of conduct among organizations that solicit contributions from the public. BBB reviews 501(c)(3) tax exempt organizations using the BBB Standards or Charity Accountability. These standards go beyond the requirements of local, state, and federal laws and regulations and cover four areas:
