Friday April 3, 2022 ********************* of Green Giant Building contracted to replace a fence post, the hinges, a broken picket and the leaning gate to ensure the gate would open/close and latch properly to secure my dogs in yard at a cost of $300. They didnt finish in one day as they said and left the gate ***** so my dogs were not secure in the yard as agreed. Upon completion they just reused the old crooked gate and shaved the end pieces down and didnt replace all 3 hinges, but rather moved 2 so it looked terrible. They also didnt replace the broken picket. ***** said he would come the next day to replace the picket and the 3rd hinge. He did and also moved the latch. In so doing he stripped the screws of the latch and within weeks the latch did not work at all allowing my dogs to escape the yard with an easy push to the gate. I put a rock in front of it to keep it closed so now you cant exit the gate from the back without going around front to move the rock. After 2 voicemails and 6 text messages over the course of 10 weeks, and several empty promises that he would come by to fix this, the gate latch is still inoperable. ***** assured me at time of payment his work was 100% satisfaction guaranteed, however, he has not made good on that guarantee and my gate still has a rock in front of it to keep it closed to keep my dogs safely in their yard. I would like this remedied or for him to pay the person I will need to have fix this correctly as soon as possible.
