            We took our sick dog to this facility. We were treated so poorly by the Vet on-call when we brought our beloved pet into the hospital to get medical attention. The veterinarian spoke so fast and at times was hard to understand, while speculating and making diagnoses without having all information available to her. We were then told that costs to care for our dog could range from $3,000 to $5,000 or more. On top of all of that, the vet poorly misunderstood us during our time of grief and showed little to no compassion about how panicked we were and suggested that we might be forced to put our family member down. When we attempted to express our concerns (we were very upset at the whole situation) the vet mistook what had been communicated to her as a "personal threat" toward her and another vet came in and told us that they (VRCC) would not care for our dog. Essentially, to get out and find another facility. Absolutely disgusting.

            We wanted to send out a special thank you to the whole staff at VRCC, Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Hospital in Englewood. You were there for us when our boxer Maverick needed care for the last few months and were so helpful when it came time for his last breathe. Your kind and compassionate staff showed us every courtesy and gave us all the time we needed to say goodby. A special thank you to Ruby Post who was our primary contact there. We are forever grateful for your help.
