This company doesn't follow the ************** laws when towing a vehicle they stole my truck out of hotel parking lot eh we re I stay as bout three weeks ago and then they continuously harassing me about my bus telling me they going to tow it and just won't leave me alone I also have a trailer on same property they keep harassing me about and all three of my vehicles have parking validation papers in windows the driver has put his hands in my vehicle more then once and knocked my parking permit out of veiw thanks *****************************

On october 19th my suv was towed from a hotel parking off of I70 and chamber's after the aroura police let them tow it. The tow truck driver hooked my car up as i was getting a parking pass. When i returned and showed pass he didnt care. Started calling me names because i looked "Gay". I got in the car and called police we waited 3 hours tell police showed up. Even after offering he would not let car go. Police allowed them to tow it. I filled a complaint with ******** PUC who regulations cover towing company's. They ruled in my favor and where ordered to release the car with no charges after 3 weeks. There contract with hotels are illegal and a fine is being issued against them by the ******** puc.

In late March 2022, Ameri-towing towed my rental car to ************* from Hometowne Suites in Lakewood, a small print parking permit scam not illegal but fraudulent. When I called 911 to report the car missing, the 911 representative texted me with the name and phone number of the towing company. The tow operator, under contract with Hometowne Suites, insisted the rate was $466 but would charge me $400. Oddly, I knew about *** regulations and towing rates; I sat in his ************* and had to negotiate with him to get the *** rate, $293. When asked about the difference, the operator said he did not know the details of the tow, even though he often tows from that motel to his storage facility. Bad enough to get scammed once by the motel, but another attempt with pricing beyond the *** regulated rates, hmmmm. My suggestion with 911 text responses to towed cars: people in PPI situations ought to have immediate access to regulated towing charges. In addition to contact information, 911 should include a link to *** PPI towing rates.
