Censorship. I posted my honest experience with my doctor and they responded saying my review "did not meet their guidelines." They provided no explanation and a dead link when I attempted to edit my review to meet their "standards."Review from Sa R

Healthgrades lacks transparency. Despite submitting a review of my experience and protesting its censorship, my review was briefly published before mysteriously disappearing. It seems the platform prioritizes doctors reputations over honest feedback from patients. This raises doubts about Healthgrades commitment to transparency and accountability.Review from J. L

This website uses NPI data and other sources to create fake profiles, then allows unverified individuals, including minors, to publish opinions about providers. Providers are not legally allowed to respond due to privacy laws. The "about me" profile section suggests the profile was made by the provider. The information is unverified, down to provider location. This is a scam and it is damaging to providers and consumers alike.Review from Sara O

DO NOT TRUST THEIR REVIEWS They omit the text of poor ratings and hide patient complaints. This is NOT a consumer transparency website - it is a medical marketing scam. The information is whitewashed and they are part of the whole issue in our medical system. What you read is NOT what people have written unless its positive.Review from Syed S

I used Healthgrades to pick doctors and dentists. I believed the site was trustworthy and accurate until I picked a dentist misled by the rating of another ghost dentist whose phone was for the location where this ghost dentist was supposed to work. However, later, I found that I was treated by another dentist whose ratings were much lower than the ghost dentist. I became suspicious of this dentist and returned to Healthgrades to recheck the picture. I realized that this dentist's picture and qualifications on Healthgrades were not the same but used by the dentist to attract patients with falsehood.I immediately informed Healthgrades of the falsehood and wrote a review about the ghost dentist to alert patients not to be fooled by the wrong picture and information and end up with the dentist who works at this location. Healthgrades refused to remove the picture and information about the ghost dentist, and when I wrote a warning review, they would not publish it. This ghost dentist has had no review published since 2020, and since I alerted them, Healthgrades labeled this ghost dentist a "patient's favorite. "I tried to reach Healthgrades by email and found it gives the wrong email, so people can't submit a complaint about their website/By the way, these are the only two dentists on the website labeled "patient's favorite." It seems that something is going on with this website, which is fishy. I will never use this website but only rely on BBB. When Healthgrades failed to publish my alert, I wrote a review of the dentist who works at this address. Initially, it was published and then removed and labeled this dentist also a "patient's favorite" with no review since 2022, and the current review score is based on very few reviewers. So I googled the validity of this website, Healthgrades, and found it has a 1.2 rating on ConsumerAffairs in addition to a warning that the site published incorrect information and has a lot of complaints on BBB,Review from Ray H

How dare you simplify the racism and disrespect my wife was shown you people should be ashamed of yourself and the conduct you allowed to go on checked. This is far from over.Truth and accountability are an illusion!Since since we cannot tell the truth! I don't care what your requirements are there are plenty of other sites to post the truth about ******************. He is a racist individual that should be terminated for his dislike of Vietnamese people. As far as *************************** is concerned, what actually is that woman accountable for? It sure isn't the conduct of the doctors in her office that serve underneath her.Wait till I show up at ********************************************* with Flyers of the review and hand them out to everybody that comes into that building. If you folks think you can hide behind your made-up policies of conduct but not hold your doctor's accountable you have another thing coming!I'm one of the most stubborn people you are ever going to run into. I don't care what you people think you are entitled too. Treating my wife the way she was treated. You people deserve a lot more than an honest review.*************************Review from Tom S

I googled for my doctor's ****** and it came up on Healthgrades' site. When I called, the woman who answered asked for my personal information including my name spelling, home address, birth date and email address. Then she gave me my doctors ****** phone number. I then realized that she was not working at my doctor's ****** and confronted her. She said Healthgrades is a company who helps doctors make appointments. I pointed out that she had not helped me with making the appointment, all she did was take confidential information from me, then give me the correct number. I said i hope I did not just get scammed. She said "Oh no, I will transfer you to your doctor". And she did. But the girl who answered at my doctor's ****** knew nothing about Healthgrades. I googled and Wikipedia says (under Complaints) that Healthgrades poses as a doctor's referral site but they actually collect people's confidential information for marketing purposes. So it is a scam.Review from Hitendra B

Healthgrads is one of the worst websites we have ever seen. There is no way to contact this unethical company. We have sent them emails and they do not respond to our emails. We can not find their phone number as well. They are allowing fake reviews to be written and there is no safety mechanism for providers to dispute a review or confirm if the review has been written by one of practice's patients. If BBB does not do anything, then practice is left with only one option.
