I used to order semiconductors from Arrow. I never had an issue with that.Recently my young son was contacted by one of their recruiters. The contact came from their subsidiary eInfochips. They had a job opening, and they found some guy on LinkedIn who might fit the position. Rather than use LinkedIn to make contact, the recruiter, ***************************** used a third-party email search service to obtain the candidates full name and email address. The details that resulted was not that of the candidate they had hoped to reach. The details were that of my young son. I would like to point out that said search tools use artificial intelligence to determine candidate details and are often wrong. Said search tools often use data stolen in cyber attacks. In this case, the data was stolen from my son's school.Months have passed and ************* insists that he obtained the email from LinkedIn. I pointed out that my sons email address is not associated with any LinkedIn account (I have verified this with LinkedIn). ************* as well as other parties at eInfochips refuse to disclose the search tool that was used to obtain my sons name and email address. I find their behavior highly unprofessional. It is only fair that they disclose the name of the tool. Meanwhile anyone can use the tool, and my son's safety is at risk.

I had a very bad experience with Arrow. I placed an online order for several items, all of which were listed in stock on the website. I also signed up for their "perks" program in order to qualify for 2 day shipping. It's been weeks, and I have only received 2 of around 20 items I ordered. There is no information on my account on Arrow's website except for the fact that my items were estimated to ship weeks ago. I have received zero communication from Arrow about my order. When I called support a few days ago, the person said they didn't know why my order was delayed and they would have to ask "the warehouse" to find out. They said the warehouse takes a long time to respond, but they would email me later that same day. It's been several days now, and I have not received any emails. Today I tried to call support again, and after a long time on hold, the phone rang once, then nothing. I tried again with the same result. I want to cancel my order, but there's no option to do so on their website. I finally got someone on the live chat, and that person told me something very similar to the person I talked to on the phone days ago: "logistics" is having problems, and they'd need to contact "logistics" to find out what the issue was. They promised to send me an email the same day with information once they hear back, but I asked to have my order canceled instead. They said an automated email will be sent to me once my order is cancelled. We'll see....
