      My teenage daughter tried to sign up for classes and their system was not processing the charge correctly. When she called to ask for help, ***** was really rude and disrespectful to her and refused to help. My daughter asked for a refund for $729 which the company still has not provided. They also said that even when they do refund her money (whenever that *** be), they will be keeping a $50 refund fee. I keep calling trying to reach someone but it always goes straight to voicemail and nobody ever calls back to try and resolve the issue. Really unethical, unprofessional, and at this point I am doubting whether they will refund her money at all. Go read the reviews other places - this organization has a long history of scamming people.

      I went to take my driver's test yesterday been driving for *********************************** I was going 47 on a 35 zone he lied. And they was suppose to give me a second free test drive and the instructor told them not to help me. And ask me to leave without even hearing my side of the story bottom line the are scammers who only want and took my money but I am looking for a lawyer

      Were sorry your interaction with our instructor felt dishonest. We can confirm however, that in reviewing the video footage from your drive test, you were in fact speeding at 47 mph in a 35 zone which resulted in your drive test failure. As roadway safety laws continue to update over the years, its not uncommon for even experienced drivers to still make mistakes. We recognize that no one likes to fail but the process, as designed by the State with a review of the issues at the end by the tester, is designed to help students understand how to drive more safely. It is therefore often the case that the individual passes on the second try after learning what issues led to the failure on the first try. Our interest is aligned first with everyone's safety on the road, then with students passing, but it is not in the interest of capitalization.

      We hope that the refund for your original drive test, and the scheduling of your free retest with our top instructor, will help you succeed in obtaining your license, and ********************** goals. We wish you the absolute best on your next drivers test, and a lifetime of safe driving!

      Do not send your student to this company. This company isn't out to help a student pass the driving test. They just want to take your money. This location failed my daughter on her driving test before she even had the chance to take the test. My daughter tested on a day when there was ice on the side roads due to an earlier snow storm. The instructor told my daughter that because it is an automatic failure if there is any slippage of the car on ice, that nobody would be passing the test today. He then did not give her the chance to reschedule, but instead took her out for the test. During the drive, prior to pulling up at an icy intersection, the instructor rolled down his window so he could listen to the sound of the tires on the ice. After my daughter made the stop safely, he turned to her and said did you feel the car slip there? As she pulled to a stop, she felt she would pass, because she hadnt felt the car slip on the ice. His response was to fail her. He scored her a nine and told her she was an excellent driver, but failed her. When the instructor explained this result to my husband they became involved in a short but heated discussion. The companies response was to drop us as clients because the instructor lied and said my husband and daughter physically assaulted him. The instructor was looking for a fight. We found that we are not the first of their customers to complain of this manner of test failure. There are quite a few reviews, regarding this Drive Safe location, and this exact same situation. The companies response every time was to slander the student/customer. It cost us $90 in additional fees - $75 to take the test elsewhere (she passed easily, in the same conditions) and an additional $15.00 at the *** because she took the test twice. In addition we lost work time, she missed a half day of school, and we had to reschedule the *** appointment - that took forever to get. Save yourself and your student the stress of dealing with this company.

      As the largest and most trusted driving school in ********, we are proud of our commitment to teach and prepare students to be safe drivers for life. It is a high responsibility that we do not hold lightly. And yes, that means that our license testers, who are trained and audited by the State, test to the States standards with the goal of making sure students are prepared for the responsibility of being licensed drivers. In ********, there is a State -licensing standard called slip, slide, spin. Simply, if the car slips, slides or spins, the license test is an automatic failure. Even if the *** brakes activate, it is an automatic failure. We advise our students and families about this issue in emails and even have a video in our Parent Portal explaining the risks of testing on ******** roads in the winter. But this story is not about a young student who failed. If that had been the biggest issue it would have been one of lifes lessons that prepared her for moments she will encounter as she enters adulthood. And her post-test review would have prepared her to pass the second test as most students do.This story, however, is about the sad display of adult behavior when her father reacted with such abhorrent language toward the instructor that it cannot be repeated here and was audiotaped during a follow-up phone call to our business. But even more so, for the first time in 14 years of running this business, one of our instructors, while doing his job, had a family member of a student be so physically aggressive that witnesses came forth afterward. Our hearts hurt for the sad demonstration of behavior and the poor role modeling this student experienced. It could only be confusing. As a company, we conferred with our instructor about filing a police report due to the level of physical aggression. Our instructor and staff decided to de-escalate the situation and we peacefully severed our business relationship with this family and refunded payments for unused services. Both parties should have been able to move on. But since that time this students mother has called our company repeatedly, lied to our service staff about the purpose of her calls, sent a long email and now is posting on this site to harm our company. There is something wrong here and it is not that a teenager failed a license test or that parents were inconvenienced. We welcome the thousands of students and families that turn to us to learn how to be safe and to drive in a way that keeps other drivers safe. Our staff will continue to work tirelessly to help each student with care, professionalism, and as positive role models for students passing through this important milestone in life.

      Our son took a Defensive Driving Class with DriveSafe. With an instructor in the car, our son hit a tree causing over $20K in damages to our vehicle. DriveSafe has not reimbursed us for any of the damages.I would not recommend DriveSafe.
