      I will no longer take my vehicle to Mountain view garage. Mechanics need to be more aware of they work on customers vehicle and instead of ******* be more observant, and make sure work is done correctly and efficiently. My experience at one point I took for oil change and a few days later notice a leak of some nature so I took vehicle to another place had it checked , the oil filter had not been properly tightened. 2ndly in Dec. ******************************************************************************** I need ball joint change due to they were split and leaking and question was from to them was how much$$$$$ they wanted to charge $1200.00 plus for the work and parts. I took vehicle to another place like Brakes plus and I was charge less and did not need that Mountain View had told me. Since it appears that since I am a women I felt being taken advantage of. They think I know nothing, I do not have money like that to spend. Needless to say I will not longer take my vehicles to Mountain View Garage.****

      If you are looking for a quality, reasonably priced, reasonably fast repair service then PLEASE, by all means go somewhere else. Mountain View is none of the above. This is the worst repair shop I have ever used and I have been to some pretty bad ones.First, they are incompetent. I brought my truck in because I was having a significant coolant fluid leak. I figured I would get an oil change also and was recommended to have the thermostat and serpentine belts replaced at the same time. They claimed I needed to get a new water pump to fix the leak. All of this work I was quoted as costing $1,600.I brought my truck in on Tuesday morning at about 8 am. They didn't even do any diagnostic work on it until 1 or 2 pm. This blew an entire day just to diagnose a major leak that a pressure test would determine in minutes. Most shops at least try to diagnose a problem early and order parts so they can get the vehicle out as soon as possible but not this place. The manager told me they are not a shop that worries about getting vehicles to their owners with any urgency or within any timeframe. He scolded me for how I wanted to get the repair on my business truck done urgently. He pointed to 15 vehicles in the bay as if to tell me they really do not care about my business, or getting my work truck back to me in a timely manner since they have so much already. **** is the service associate who told me Tuesday is o.k. to bring it in since they have an opening. That was a lie. At all times dealing with them they make you feel unwanted like they do not have time for your repair and like a second class citizen. Yes, nice up front until you give them your vehicle then delay after delay and incompetence.I had to leave it there Wednesday also and by the end of the day, was told its ready. ****, the service person, told me when I was paying, the cost was a hundred or two less because "I ordered the wrong size serpentine belts and several other parts." No doubt this caused delay in getting my work truck back. On Thursday morning I found a fluid leak the same size as before. How incompetent. Wrong parts ordered and problem was not fixed. My truck obviously was not fixed properly so I went to the shop immediately and was told by the manager that he "was not sure if he could get my truck back to me any time soon since there are 15 vehicles in the shop already". Most shops would put you first in line immediately if there is the same exact problem happening after they sent the truck out the day before.I didn't have time to waste so I took my truck to another shop and they told me there is a leak where the hose meets the radiator. That is the source of my leak. Also, THE MECHANIC TOLD ME THE THERMOSTAT WAS NOT PUT IN CORRECTLY AND THIS WAS CAUSING A FLUID LEAK ALSO.BOTTOM LINE: IF YOU WANT GOOD SERVICE, A REASONABLE WAIT TIME AND SOMEONE WHO IS COMPETENT GO SOMEWHERE ELSE
