I would NEVER recommend this dealership to anyone and they tarnish the Toyota brand. ****************** has repeatedly mislead us and provided us with a damaged vehicle that was supposedly 'new', and which we paid a premium for. The vehicle was handed over with the protective cover removed from the control screen. We subsequently identified the control screen was damaged and reported it right after identifying it, and about 48 hours after purchasing the vehicle. After repeated attempts to contact the dealership, they have now advised they won't do anything about it, despite the fact the vehicle is not in a new condition and have alledged "an animal" damaged the screen. We recently relocated to the US and do not have any animals (despite this allegation being ludicrous). I invited ******** S to have the screen (and car) inspected to verify it is not animal damage and try to find a way forward but he declined. As is evident from the pictures, which were provided to the dealership, the marks are clearly not consistent with animal marks/scratches. Not only have we been sold a defective vehicle, we are now being accused of causing the damage. Never have we been treated in such a disgraceful manner. In addition to this, ******** agreed to provide an all weather mat for the trunk and the dealership is not declining to provide this, which based on previous reviews is an ongoing issue.Review from Nick A

We brought our 2021 Highlander in for a RCTA light coming on. Initially, we paid out of-pocket $500 to have the sensor reprogrammed. It worked for about a week before the light came back on, and here starts the problem. Not only was the problem not fixed, but they missed a service light that was on. It's clear from their multipoint inspection that the tech did not even look over the car, despite us paying out of pocket for what should have been a warranty issue. The service advisor would not return our calls or emails. After eventually getting through and bringing the car back, we were told it would need a new sensor (despite no diagnosis being done other than reading the code). After multiple back-and-forth emails from their assistant service manager where we received false information, we connected with the service manager. He was more helpful than our previous contacts, but that's a low bar. Eventually, we paid for a new sensor out of pocket, and two weeks later, the light was back on. After bringing our car back for the 3rd time, we were told the car's body was damaged. I waited until a rep from Toyota could meet in person to explain, as the information and level of service we were getting was non-existent. We decided to go ahead with the body panel repair, and were told by the service manager that they would use the old sensor (I kept the part) and refund us for the cost of the new sensor that was incorrectly replaced. It's been 65 days since we picked up the car and they have yet to refund this money. We've been told it's in the mail, then voided and being printed, but due to issues with corporate has been delayed. It does not take 65 days to process a refund. During this time it will take multiple emails over several days/weeks to get a response from the service manager.****** learned, I'll never go back to Stevinson Toyota East. I've worked in dealerships before and I am baffled they get away with treating customers like this.Review from Tycjana K

We bought a 2016 Land Rover discovery from them. They claimed that everything that needed to be fixed, was. Fast forward not too far ahead to July 9th, where the car is fuming under the hood as if its about to explode, as well as a rattling noise in the engine. We havent driven the car even **** miles. Dont buy a car here. to make it worse, I called sales and service to complain. ******* wont return my calls but I finally reach *****, who definitely hates his job or life because he gave me quite a conversation along the lines of the car problem not being their issue. I then wrote a ****** review about this and ***** calls me back on my personal phone to thank me very much for his negative review and that your review is not going to help you out here at all. I had a simple 5k service done and within 48 hours of leaving the dealership 2 of my hub caps had fallen off. Clearly the technician didnt do their job properly. I reached out to the advisor, service manager and gm of the dealership multiple times through email, voicemail, messages with the receptionist and have still received no response over a week and a half later. All Im asking is simply to replace the 2 missing hub caps, but this dealership obviously has no incentive to have good customer service.Review from Brittany R

Worst customer service I have had in my entire adult life. They are overbooked and dont even look at your car when you have an appointment. Even if you pressure them they say they took a quick look at 5pm when theyve had your car since 8 am. I have gone here multiple times giving them the benefit of the doubt. I have had service scheduled where I have showed up for and they tell me they cant see my car so I turn around. Last time i took my car in I spoke to customer service prior to bringing it in and they assured me it would be taken care of and diagnosed day of and it wasnt. I had to call again before closing and they said they cant figure it out. Every time Ive gone there *** had to call and pressure them to actually look at my car which they do right before close or the next day when I have an early morning appointment. They fix a problem then a week to two weeks later the problem arises again. Almost every time. And I pay every time. And wait days to a week or so every time. This last time it took a week when I was assured it would be taken care of immediately. I had to pressure the guy to get it looked at and it took them like two days to really even look at it. They told me it was one issue and that my car would be ready at 3:15. I came at 3:40 and my car wasnt even ready and the problem they fixed wasnt the actual problem. They told me it might be another week. I ended up refusing that service and just taking it. I will never go here again. I live a mile away and Id rather drive to boulder to another dealership then ever deal with this place again. Coming from someone who has spent most of their life in customer service. Never use their service department. They are awful and rude and full of bs just to appease you. The only positive person I ever dealt with there was *** so give that man a ralador but everyone else. Awful. Go anywhere but here.Review from Lynda V

BEWARE -SERVICE. I had a scheduled oil change/inspection/bulb change on Saturday at 11:30 (dropped it off the night before). Service advisor-*****. They sent a text message in AM stating that I could use that method to contact them. Sent 2 text messages for ***. NO response . I finally called at 3:45 and was told I'd get a call back in "2 minutes". After over 45 min with no return call, I called again and was told car was done and needed to be there in next 20 minutes as they close at 5. Once I got home after paying, I noticed that I was NOT provided with the usual inspection report . The oil change sticker was not replaced and car not reset. I called Monday morning asking for a service manager to call. No manager called! Two days later, I spoke to ***** again as to whether inspection or oil change was actually performed since, besides the headlight which I had reported on envelope, there was no indication that anything else had been done. She said "they changed headlight bulb so that proved it was done". However, I was the one who indicated this light was out -it was NOT found on inspection. No apologies or explanation as to why report wasn't provided or why sticker and car not reset. When I stopped by again to pick up report (now Wednesday), I was given the report by another service advisor who also placed a new sticker on the ****************** the car. HOWEVER, this new report had EXACT mileage as noted on 09/2022 report and the oil sticker was same. I called AGAIN. ***** argued that they recorded the mileage on Saturday accurately. I told her to look at Sept ************* finally agreed it was same. But again, no apology, no explanation as to why. So at this point, either an inspection and/or oil change was never actually done and I was charged for services not rendered, or they truly can't get it together to do a simple oil change. I'll leave it up to the BBB and ************************** to determine whether this was fraudulence or incompetence.Review from Chris B

Emailed me in writing they had a vehicle reserved for me with a sale price including my taxes. The day it was supposed to arrive I received calls from *********************** and ************ Letting me know they were no longer going to sell me this vehicle. This dealership is also guilty of fraud by charging customers a ******************* up for remote start on vehicles that already include a remote start from the factory. They install no additional equipment and are charging customers for it. Luckily I caught this but how many customers have not.Review from James H.

Brought my 2019 toyota tacoma here for service as I had a busted brake line. 2 pieces of the brakeline needed to be replaced, brake fluid added, and the brakes bled. I wanted to do it myself, but could not get the piece needing repaired off. I regrettably had my Tacoma towed here. What should have been a quick and easy job turned into $546 and they claimed the job takes 2.5 hours. This is absolutely rubbish and a cut and dry ***** job. When bringing this up with service, they claimed Toyota tells them the length of time this takes. I will never be back and encourage others to find a more reputable repair shop.Customer Response

Hi *****,Im sorry to hear you are unhappy with the cost of your service. We use a labor guide for repair times. I reviewed your invoice and although we were entitled to charge 2.8 hours for the brake line replacement and to bleed all four brakes, we charged 2.5 hours and the price you paid is correct based on our shop rates (plus parts, taxes, and shop supplies). The biggest advantage of bringing your Toyota to a Toyota dealership for service is the technicians specialize in servicing Toyotas. We also use genuine Toyota parts and stand behind our work for 12 months, unlimited miles. Its our sincere hope you will give us another opportunity to service your Toyota. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Sincerely,*********************** Service Manager ************Review from Nathaniel R

To our everlasting regret, my wife, and I went to Stevinson Toyota on Havana. As the following will demonstrate, it was the worst decision any car buyer can make. Of course, if you are looking for more details continue reading, but if you need the quick version- StevinsonToyota is a sexist dealership whod rather s**** a customer for the bottom line than meet the customers need.In March of 2021, I leased a truck from ********* Toyota. Fast forward a year, I discovered the truck was not for me. My wife really wanted a hybrid Highlander. The notion of a gas efficient, large SUV was too good to pass up. As such, I told her. As long as you can get even trade value for the Tacoma, you can totally trade it for a Highlander. My wife immediately reached out to ***** the Stevinson sales representative that leased me the Tacoma. He was trustworthy. He put the customer first. Hes no longer a sales rep at Stevinson. After learning of Joshs departure, Stevinson set my wife up with the sales rep ***** Based on her first experience, **** appeared to have my wifes best interest in mind. After all, he proclaimed that we could trade in the leased truck, get $4,000 in return value and finance the remainder of a new vehicle at a viable 2.9% interest rate. Given the offers appeal, my wife immediately reserved a Highlander Hybrid, set to arrive in late March.Unfortunately, outside of the vehicles arrival date, everything **** stated to my wife was a lie. Essentially, **** used coercive sales tactics to manipulate the customer into believing one outcome, only to deceitfully alter the arrangement as a means of extracting additional funds from an unknowing customer. To elaborate, my wife arrived at ********* around 3:30PM with my son. We both thought the process would be quick, as the terms of the deal had already been discussed. I arrived around 4:30, as they merely needed my vehicle to complete the trade and finalize the process. As such, I signed a few dStevinson Toyota East Response

****************,Im sorry to hear of your regret. Your assertion that we were sexist by withholding water to coerce your wife into agreeing to a purchase is absurd and without merit. The mistakes we made were related to how to structure the purchase with the amount due on the lease, and the resulting internal strife. Your voicemail to me the following day stated that you would like to return the vehicle your wife purchased and pick up your trade in. I had my Director of Finance (not my assistant) reach out to your spouse to arrange for that to occur after receiving your message. When we contacted your wife, she informed us that she did not want to return the vehicle but would proceed with the transaction if we made concessions to the contract which I agreed to, and we thought you were both happy as a result. If you would still like to discuss further, please feel free to give me a call at your convenience.Sincerely,***** Bear General Manager ************
