I had CT Brown Sanitation replace a distribution box on my septic tank. My old box was concrete and was deteriorating. I was told by Tom at CT Brown he would replace it with a heavy duty plastic system. This since all replacement parts are now plastic and not concrete. He came out and tore out my old distribution box and installed a homemade distribution box. Yes, a homemade box! It was made out of a piece of a plastic ditch type drain tile. The holes were cut in the plastic tile by a sawzall. I was floored when they started cutting the holes. I asked why no premade distribution box? He said, "This is going to be a lot better, the premade ones cave in and crush your lines after awhile", I did not feel that I had much choice but to let them finish. I'm not satisfied with the way the internal parts look as it is "homemade" and not a professional quality box. I'm sure they make a lot more on the repair when they use parts that look like they came from the boneyard. Do yourself a favor and find another company to work on your septic system. I will no longer give them any of my business!
