After reading the past reviews, I can now see that my situation and the lack of communication at CSU is not an isolated case. I work for a school district and am part of a union in California. I had just become aware of a free college program that had become available through my union and CSU. However after applying and sending in various transcripts, I didn't receive any definitive notification about whether or not I was accepted. I reached out through phone call and email and had a similar experience as other reviewers. No one ever knew the answer to my question, everyone simply kept referring me to someone else. I applied in January of 2022. In July 2022 the free college program was halted and only students that were already enrolled could continue in the program. I would have still been able to benefit from this program if the people there could get their jobs done! Without that program I can't afford tuition and I don't want to be tied down to student loans for years to come. I can't really speak for the teachers or other staff since I didn't get a chance to actually receive instruction.

If I could give this University one zero, I would; it's by far the worst College Institution I've ever attended, I've paid for multiple transcripts that are required to apply for specific jobs and graduate school, and to date, I've received nothing my transcript still currently shows continuing student. I've called their helpline, which is a complete joke. They take your complaint and send an email, nothing more. No genuine assistance is provided. They also sent my stimulus payment to the wrong address twice and refused to send it, although I never received it. I've complained so much about these two matters and have received assistance. I want this nightmare to be over. All I want is fairness. I completed school in early July and still have ongoing issues. Please do not attend this University. I know it's much better Institutions out there.

Horrible Institution. I agree with the last two reviews. They are incapable of their jobs. No one know's anything. Worst experience. They always refer you to others, and nothing gets done! I also wasted money on transcripts. They should be investigated. It is a joke!

Worst experience I've ever had when dealing with a higher learning establishment. Been waiting almost 5 months to get my application approved/denied. After spending a bunch of money to have transcripts sent, I'm continuously told the application is being reviewed.

So not only does the communication from the front offices suck(financial aid, cash management , registrars) the people in the offices can never help their always referring you to someone else who your going to have to re explain your whole situation you going to get sent to someone else to do all of this over one more time before you finally come in contact with the person who can actually help. The ladies in financial aid and cash management 9/10 are having a bad day and are rude when they deal with you. Mrs.H***** personally told me she would help with my issue (proof of attendance for VA) and gave me her card . She did not reach out. She didn't answer when I tried to reach out by mail or phone. This is not my first time dealing with Mrs.H*****. I had one admin staff flat out lie about contacting me after me and him had a sit down and I signed papers for my classes to be dropped. I went a whole semester with classes I did not know I was taking because of this. Not once did he mention that there was an issue with dropping the class. I ended up with F ultimately for the lack of communication again at this school. I do not recommend this school at all from not letting me choose the summer classes I needed to take to just simply not being truthful. These adults here act like kids and are greedy for power at this university . I also had the DEAN OF STUDENTS get in my face and yell at the top of her lungs like I was some random off the streets she was about to swing on. Not only did I file a police report the police officer witnessed this lady act like full blown child. She discriminated against me and made me sit while she allowed all the other students to go get their things from their dorm to go home for the semester. All of this is on camera by the way. They do have some good people on staff (dr.a*****) but they don't have enough power to change things.
