I read the brochures on the different shingles/roofing products by Owens Corning, CertianTeed and Atlas. I decided to go with the Atlas brand of Pinnacle Pristine Shingles/roofing products based on the Warranty, 130mph wind resistance protection, Scotchgard shingle protection. I found Hinkle & Van Dine Roofing,LLC listed under the installers for Atlas products. I also checked the BBB listing and found they have an A+ rating. I contacted Jim Hinkle who came and assessed my roof, noted I had some areas where ice dams had formed leaving some roof/ceiling damage. He provided information about the installment of Ice+Water shingle underlayment and replacing current vent cover on the roof which is over my stove fan with the proper vent cover. He gave a fair and reasonable estimate to replace my roof. Jim keeps you informed about the scheduling of your roof replacement and if there is going to be any delays. On the day they did my roof replacement , his work team arrived on time. They covered/protected my bushes and the yard under the work area. His work team is polite, very organized, fast, and hard working from the roofers installing the shingles on the roof to thoroughly cleaning up the debris after the roof replacement was completed.
