      I have been to this store several times and have purchased furniture there. I will not return to this store ever again because of a recent experience I had. I had a horrific fall and broke my hip and arm. I spent 11 days in the hospital and have a ways to go yet before I heal. Could not move my left side and the pain was excruciating because I also could not take the strong medicine I needed. So my husband took me to Town and Country to purchase a lift chair to help me get up and down. When we entered the store no one came up to us but yelled from the back what we wanted. We told them and I had to walk to the back of the store. I tried a few chairs and found one I liked. When I asked how soon I could get it he said the next day if I could pick it up! Of course I couldn't obviously so he added he would have to add a delivery fee!! I expected that but he said it several times and acted like he didn't want to bother with us!! Now you have to remember I had fallen and broken bones in my hip and was in the hospital for 11 days. I had just gotten out of the hospital and needed help. I could not wear stylish clothes and I couldn't even do my hair and the owner was not nice to me let alone showed any compassion for what I had been through. What if someone worse off than me had gone in and got the same treatment. He made me feel like a low life person and I don't want to face him again when I am healed because I needed HELP NOT BELITTLED!!! I had a happy ending because I went to another store and found a chair and it was delivered that day!! If I am not good enough to come in that store when I need help I will not be back. And if I can spare someone from an experience like I had I sure will. If there is no compassion for people who need help I will not support the business. Sharon B

      I DID WORK WITH THIS PERSON, HOWEVER THE INTERACTION WAS NOTHING LIKE THIS PERSON STATES. FIRSTLY, OUR LIFT RECLINERS ARE AT THE BACK OF OUR FIRST FLOOR. I DID NOT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THIS PERSON'S HEALTH ISSUES OTHER THAN HER ARM WAS IN A SLING AND SHE HAD A CANE. HER HUSBAND DID SAY SHE HAD GOTTEN DRUNK AND FELL. I ASSUMED HE WAS KIDDING. I SPENT TIME SHOWING HER EVERY LIFT RECLINER WE HAD. EACH TIME I HELPED HER WITH THE OPERATION OF EVERY CHAIR, AND MOVED HER CANE TO POSITION IN FRONT OF EACH CHAIR IN ORDER TO HELP HER OUT OF THE CHAIRS. I DID ASK HER HUSBAND NICELY NOT TO SIT IN ANY MORE CHAIRS AS HE HAD GREASE ON HIS BACK SIDE. HE SAID HE UNDERSTOOD AND THAT HE HAD JUST COME FROM WORKING IN THE BARN. WHEN SHE DECIDED ON A CHAIR, HER HUSBAND ASKED WHEN THEY COULD GET IT. SINCE MY WAREHOUSE MEN HAD LEFT FOR THE DAY, I TOLD THEM WE COULD GET IT TO THE BACKROOM DOCK THE NEXT MORNING AND THEY COULD PICK IT UP, OR WE COULD SCHEDULE DELIVERY. HE RESPONDED HE COULD NOT PICK IT UP. I ASKED IF THEY HAD OR KNEW OF ANY FAMILY MEMBERS OR FRIENDS THAT COULD HELP. HE SAID NO. THEN HE SAID HE WAS NOT GOING TO PAY A DELIVERY FEE. WE HAD NEVER EVEN DISCUSSED WHAT THE FEE WOULD BE. I SAID WE WERE NOT ABLE TO TO DELIVER THE LIFT RECLINER AT NO COST BECAUSE WE DID NOT HAVE THAT COST BUILT INTO THE SALE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT. I TRIED TO EXPLAIN THAT WE GIVE OUR CUSTOMERS EVERY OPPORTUNITY TO SAVE. THAT WAS THE END OF OUR INTERACTION. AT NO TIME WAS THERE ANY JUDGEMENTAL OR DISRESPECTFUL CONVERSATION. I AM SORRY THAT THIS PERSON TOOK THIS EXPERIENCE IN SUCH A NEGATIVE MANNER. WE ALWAYS STRIVE TO POSITIVELY HELP OUR CUSTOMERS IN EVERY MANNER POSSIBLE.

      Horrible company, My 86yr old mother-in-law purchased a leather rocker recliner for $800, Within 6mo the seat cushion shifted and she fell out of the chair. We were able to get the manufacturer (Best) to replace the seat cushion but within 24hrs it started doing the same thing! We asked if we could return the chair or get a partial refund but they stated we were out of luck and we could either sell it or give it to goodwill, WOW! Very disappointed. Many horrible reviews on YELP as well!!!! DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!
