I certainly hope customers read these before having service done to their vehicles at this dealership. I am on my fourth Jeep so I love the product. My 2020 gladiator is still under warranty and went in for transmissions issues. After driving vehicle with technician it was agreed upon the transmission was acting up. He recommended a flush of transmission, I was never told at this point a flush wouldn't be covered under warranty. A day later I was called saying they had the truck on lift, transmission pan off and needed authorization to proceed with $895 transmission flush that was NOT covered under warranty, I advised I was on my way to dealership to discuss with management, since I wasn't told about it not being under warranty at this point nor it would cost anything or had authorized the work. On phone my options were for them to put it back together or proceed with the $895. Wouldn't you know it they called back few mins later but I wasn't able to take call as I was on motorcycle. Once I arrived at dealership they stated it was an error and the truck was not on lift with pan off and fluid drained. Had I just consented over the phone with out checking out their "error" I would have been out $895. I was also in process of having a salesman look for a challenger but have sense stopped the hunt. I really believe this was not an error and an opportunity to take advantage of me. It is a shame, I'd suggest not buying from this dealership or more importantly trusting the service department. My rating would be a zero if I could go that low. I know the service department knows who I am after leaving this, I'd love to get a call from the owner of this dealership to discuss further.Review from Alexander M

This dealership has the worst body shop service ever. I took my car to be repaired after an accident, and after three months of running around telling me my car was going to be fixed week after week after week. I almost lost my job because they held my car for so long and then when I finally got my car back, the car was missing pieces the fender on my car and the back door and the front door on the side of the of accident weren’t Seated correctly. When I took the car back up there and show them the mistakes the guy promise to call me back with an appointment to correct the mistakes, but never did so I went back there today and spoke with a new body shop manager, and he informed me that the old body shop manager had been fired and then, when I told him the situation, he tried to make it seem like it was my fault that the car wasn’t fix correctly even though the previous body shop manager took pictures and documented this he assured me that there were no documentation of my car even being there even after my insurance company, cut them a check to fix my car. This was the worst experience and customer service I have ever had and then when I went and I asked for a general managers number or corporate number that I can talk to they told me to leave or they were going to call the police on me. I will never take my car back to Dayton dodge dealership on Shiloh Springs Road .Review from Jarrett C

They ran an event that promised that if someone recommended someone to get a car they would get $500 my mom recommended me to Evans Arena and I ended up getting a car even though I didn’t want to and I didn’t have the money I felt pressured into buying a car and they still haven’t given my mom her $500 everyone there told us she would get the money and she still hasn’t yet what a joke of a car dealershipReview from Joel C.

I purchased a used truck 3/15/22 returned for some issue the following day like the speedometer wasn't working and ignition issues, received vehicle back around 28th or 29th. Then notice a black piece of tape covering a service engine soon light..I requested a refund or another vehicle...They have refused, this vehicle isn't safe for me or my disabled clients. They rold me the title is in my name, I haven't received a title or signed a title over. They currently have the vehicle, if I knew the service engine light was on I would've never bought the vehicle..That's misrepresentation.Customer Response

Worst customer service experience EVER!!!!!!!!!! Bought a 2019 Ram 2500 new from this dealership. Check engine light is on again with 17988 miles, called to get my truck in the shop to get looked at and was told 3 weeks out for a appt. to get it looked at. I asked is this how you treat customers who bought a new vehicle from your dealership? I was put on hold the 2nd time I called for over 10 minutes to only get the voice mail to the service manager who has not returned my call from the 1st voice mail I left a few months ago from the 1st check engine light. Seems her voice mail can take messages but she doesn't know how to return calls. The service manager when I did meet her she was rude, had a attitude that she was better than me and I didn't know what I was talking about. I still have electrical issues with my lights, and the radio does what it wants. After working in the automotive field for over 30 years and a shop Diesel Supervisor with over 7 years experience, Yes I can figure it out but then what is the warranty for. The service at this dealership does not rate a 1 on the scale. Never again will I go to this dealership or recommend friends and family to buy from there and or try to get their vehicle service'd there. Also, I did tell the service manager in her voice mail my next phone call was to an attorney.Dayton Chrysler Jeep Dodge RAM Response

Worst customer service experience I've ever received. I took my 2017 Jeep into Evans Arena to have both the battery an alternate battery replaced. When I called to check on my vehicle I was told for several days that it was being placed on a diagnostic scanner. After checking on the vehicle several times and holding for 20 minutes at a time I finally found out it wasn't my vehicle but another white Jeep that was being diagnosed. After 3 days I received my vehicle back. The very first time I get back into the vehicle I go to open the sunroof and nothing happens. After several attempts to open the sunroof I hold the button down and it begins to try to open but makes a terrible noise. I call Jeep several times and try to tell someone about the condition of my vehicle upon return. Several times put on hold for 15/20 minutes never given a time to bring the vehicle in for repair. I finally start to contact the Service manager, Josh. Josh made several promises to pick up my vehicle and bring me a loaner car. Several times he failed to contact me when a loaner vehicle was available. I then told Josh I didn't need a loaner I just need my sunroof fixed as it was damaged when I received my vehicle back. He then tells me to bring the vehicle in on Monday and he would Make sure it was repaired for me that day. I show up With the car and the service guy had no idea I was coming and told me that Josh had been fired. I explained the entire situation to him and left him my car. I Never heard from him that day or late into the next day. I had to call again. They hadn't even looked at my vehicle. Finally after leaving messages to the "new" service manager Melissa and never getting a call back I left a voicemail for Ed the GM. Finally Thursday I get a call from Randy in the service department quoting me $1750 to replace my entire sunroof. What???? I insisted to speak with the GM as Josh the service manager they fired was supposed to fix this no charge because I received my vehicle back this way. So at this point they have had my vehicle almost a week and no parts have been ordered and no work was completed/. Ed contacts me and said there was no way to prove they damaged the sunroof and he would not pay for the repairs but would give me a discount of $300. Then he offered to quote me a price in my vehicle and see if he could find me something new! The quote on my vehicle was as low as it could be and full price on another vehicle to trade in. I told them I wasn't interested. I then Go back to ask how we are going to resolve the issue of my damaged sunroof. Basically nothing so I speak to Randy in service to arrange a time to pick up my damaged vehicle. At this point they have had my vehicle for 10 days. I ask Randy where my vehicle had been stored this entire time and come to find out it's been outside in the weather and rain with an open sunroof for the last 10 days/. Still no interest to resolve this issue or apologize for leaving my car to be damaged in the rain or being without my vehicle for a week and a half. Hence my review here and on any site I can find/. The last two vehicles I've purchased have been brand new and I'm a Jeep girl now. Evans will NOT get my business.Dayton Chrysler Jeep Dodge RAM Response

Mrs. S*****, first, we would like to apologize again for the frustration this has caused. We take full responsibility for all experiences in our service department, both good and bad.
As you stated, we were authorized to replace both the vehicles' batteries in your jeep. We understand that this did have a longer wait time than expected due to staffing issues at our dealership. We apologize for any inconvenience this caused, but hope the batteries were replaced to your satisfaction.
Unfortunately, we are unable to determine that the sunroof was damaged while in our care. This was not caught on any of our camera footage, and our technician would have had no reason to be assessing the sunroof at all. Our previous service manager, Josh, acted on the assumption that this was a misalignment and not a motor issue. We apologize that we did not understand the extent of the damage when initially providing feedback and cannot offer a $1,750 service for free on good faith. We would like to extend the $300 off offer for the length of you owning the vehicle, barring any changes in what will need to be replaced. We value your business past, present and would love to see you in the future!
As we mentioned during our in-store conversation, we do not keep vehicles inside the garage overnight. However, I have personally discussed leaving the sunroof being left open with my service team during the rain and we would like to extend free detailing on the interior of your vehicle for the inconvenience.
Please reach out to me directly to discuss these offers we have provided, and I would be happy to assist.
Thank you,
Ed Bressler, General Manager of Evans Arena CDJR
