I hired Bob Lipsey Painting for an office interior job years ago and the job was excellent. With that being said, I hired them again in 2016 to paint the exterior of my house and this experience was good and they did a good job. In December 2021 I decided to get estimates for a complete interior paint job including attached garage & some minor exterior repairs and re-paint. Out of the six estimates that I obtained including discussions with walk throughs with each, I chose Bob Lipsey Painting Company because of my previous experience. We did two more walk throughs before the job started to make sure we are all on the same page with the last one being with Bob Lipsey. All I can say is that this was the worst experience that I have had in my adult life. I was told the job would be 10 days, max 12. It took 23 days to complete this job with another 2 days added to that as touch ups. The house was a wreck and a mess the whole time. No organization and little communication. Poor communication from project manager to painters with NO communication from project manager to homeowner. They even left my house unlocked, twice. I could write a novel on this experience just to slam this whole process, but I am not because I truly feel that Bob is a good person, he has the wrong people working for him at this time. I do need to say this, the last touch up completed 03-08-2022 was not to my satisfaction and it is evident that this particular painter needs to be replaced immediately. There was no clean up at all from where he touched up and made it clear to this homeowner that he has no value in himself nor to others property. This entire process gets a zero star. The paint job gets a 3 star and I'm being kind. I could have held out on paying the balance at the end of this and demanded that they get it right, but there is a time where you just want it to be over and move on.
