Due to poor customer service and follow up, if I could select a lower rating, I would. I engaged Oak Leaf to provide landscaping and installation of a fence around the backyard after installing a new pool. The landscaping was decent, but the problem was the quality of the fence (three side wood, back aluminum). Immediately after installation, I immediately started noticing and having problems with the fence. The double gate at the driveway was not stable and posts were coming out of the ground.The single wood gate was uneven and separated from the fence, with exposed screws.Several pieces of wood were coming unnailed.The contractor placed chipped wood facing up. Exposed nails and screws throughout, which was a safety issue.Different color wood in several areas.Fence was bent/warped in several areas.The aluminum gate is not aligned properly.Wood glue was not cleaned up properly in several spots, and had dried. Top of several posts are not evenly cut.What was disappointing was their response time in addressing the issues. After six months of telephone calls and text messages with **** and *****, I had to engage an attorney to get action because they stopped responding. I would never tell anybody to not do business with a company or individual, but I certainly will not proactively recommend Oak Leaf. Effective and consistent communication mitigates issues and problems with customers, and creates customer customer loyalty. Unfortunately, Oak Leaf missed the *****
