    Hello, My son **** ******** was broke down and staying at this motel. He needed me to pay for the night of 6/1/21 and my friends *** and ****** ******* picked him up 6/2/21, *** dropped off the key at the desk and drove **** to an Emergency Department in ******,AL then booked him into an ****** hotel after **** spent hours at the hospital. **** was brought to the ********* airport early on 6/4/21 for a flight to ***********. Bay Inn and Suites was authorized by an email from me, as they instructed me to do, after speaking to them on the phone on 6/1/21, for one night charge only on 6/1/21, for **** ********, room 313. I was charged for 6/1/21 and 6/2/21 and never recieved an invoice. This establishment does not do Point of sale so charges were not applied to my account until 6/9/21 and showed up on my July statement. I reported the fraud to Wells Fargo in July and the second charge was reversed but just this week, the charge is back on my card with some statements made by Bay Inn saying there were 2 rooms? That makes no sense. My statement shows charges for rm 313 dates of 6/1/21 and 6/2/21. This is fraud and has caused me overdrafts and will prevent me from being able to pay for necessary medications this month. I am a disabled person on a limited income. I have the original email authorizing the charge, the room and the date. Please help. This place was supposed to charge 99.00 for one night, charged 153.95 per night and charged for two with no invoice ever received for the charge and no authorization or reason to charge for 2 rooms or two nights or 153.95. I was not in ******, AL. I did not rent room 313, my 35 yr old son did and I only authorized a one night room rate **** stated was 99.00, which coincides with the current published rates on their website, if you add tax. There are many complaints on the reviews for price changes and condition of this motel. Please help. I am an honest person who volunteers as a mediator in Minnesota. Thank you.

    Over priced for accommodations. Customer service was horrible. Checked in and was in the room for approximately an hour and the TV went out. Called front desk and was rudely told that he didn't control the weather. I told him he did control his crappy hotel though. He came to the room and told us to leave and we wouldn't receive a refund. The room was just barely tolerable. The towels were all stained and the tub was stained and moldy. Just a horrible experience all around.
