I have been a member of this credit union for approximately 15 years. I stayed with them moving the midtown location to the inconvenient location at Brookley Field, but now I've had enough. They have now closed the midtown location indefinitely. I feel as though they are impeding access to my money. I called the customer service number and waited on hold for 20 minutes before I spoke to a representative to see when they were planning to reopen. The representative said they weren't planning to reopen that location. The other locations are by appointment only. I just think it's absurd to have virtually no access to my money. So needless to say I am closing my accounts with them.

Thank you for your comment and review. New Horizons Credit Union prides itself on delivering professional, member service, but in seems in your eyes, we have failed. Please know that we offer six other locations, 24/7 Online & Mobile Banking (with Mobile Deposit), 24/7 ATM Network with over 55,000 ATMs Nationwide. Plus, we over 24/7 Voice-24 Telephone Account Access. Not all branches are by appointment only, and regardless - all have night drop boxes, and ATMs. In fact, we have two ATMs that even have deposit features. So, you actually have more access to your money than you think. The Mid-town location was closed due to limited staff caused by the pandemic - and the only thing we can ask is for our members' patience as we get through these challenging times. We'd love to open other locations in the future to even better accommodate our mid and downtown members in the future, but limited staff is postponing those plans until it makes better sense to do so. In the meantime, we can recommend that you enroll in our free electronic services to avoid any hold or wait times or visit one of our other branches. Again, we appreciate your comments, and we hope you reconsider moving your account.
