Hi,My name is kameca and my house got flooded in September. An adjuster came to do the inspection and he communicated with me for the first week and I provided receipts of all the contractors including what I paid to Servpro which was nearly ***** that the insurance company recommended and the adjuster came back with a number that was totally inappropriate did not even look at the invoices and estimates of the contractor. I did not agree with the findings and was asked for additional docs which. The adjuster ******* did not even add any of the additional docs. The revised settlement was nearly the same as the one prior nothing was looked at . I'm beginning to think maybe he's a little bias. My issue is mainly with assurant why hire a company that's unfair to service your customers. They should be our advocate. The adjuster is rude, dismissive and the office staff is awful. Every single time I call, they constantly argue with me, total disregard and unprofessional. I'm not begging these people. I just want to be treated fairly. I want these people investigated/ audited. I know some things are not covered by flood insurance but the ones that are covered should be covered. Right is right I don't wish this on my worst enemy. Get these people out of business because I really think that they are extremely prejudice.
