They may perform great work (maybe? i dont even know?), but they feel like shysters and they're going to charge you an arm and a leg for it. Our pump died on the weekend, we gave them a call and spoke with the tech. I stated we didn't have extra fees for a "weekend" call or something else, and he said he understood and no problem. The next day I found out that they charge $100 flat no matter if its the weekend or not, so basically the tech blew off coming out because it was the weekend. Then when they got here, the assessment, WHICH THEY CHARGE ANOTHER $100 FOR, was the guy literally just putting his hand on the pump and saying "well that's too hot, it all needs to be replaced." He did absolutely nothing to examine the pump or see if it could be fixed. Instead, he starts in about how my current pump is an old model and yeah they could replace it for $2000 but I should really buy this new system for $4000 and if I don't I'm probably making a bad decision, etc etc. My wife and I initially were going to do it just because we wanted running water, which is Im sure the position these people at aquapump love to have, you figuratively poised over an empty barrel. Then we came to our sense and called someone else. Other guy came out, spent an hour trying to actually fix the pump, and when he couldn't get it to work, spent another hour replacing the pump with the same style (deep well pump), and then it was done. It cost me $200 in labor from the other guy, when aquapump charged me $200 to just get a quote for TWICE what the other guy ended up charging me. Find a local technician who doesn't charge a premium for the "aquapump" name.
