Horrible experience. They are litterally scammers . Spent 8k for an entire new system the motor THEY install blows a year later I want some type of help to resolve the issue and they want to charge me 700 to fix a blown motor and they want to offer me 10% off. Are you serious?!? I spent 8k with y’all n now all they can say is too bad it’s 700 to come fix it .20/20 Air Mechanical Corp. Response

We have only spoken with the owner and her son Danny. I am not sure who this person is or why they are complaining as our correspondence has been with others This system was installed over a year ago and is out of the labor warranty. Our letter to 20/20 Air speaks for itself. Very abusive. Pricing abuse when we had no other choice. We will file complaints in CT, etc. also. Avoid doing business with them. RE: Replace blower motor and IFC board: Just to let you know that we were extremely displeased with the latest ‘repair’ of our A/C Unit. As you know, you installed a brand new compressor and blower in our house 2 years ago. You sold us a complete system, including a fancy variable speed motor at a total cost of $7,150. Two year later, i.e. now, the system failed. Even though the system was under warranty, you charged us $1354.90 for changing that motor. We did complain about that exorbitant cost to the worker who came to make the repair, and then by calling the office. We do not see why a repair caused by either a poor installation on your side and/or by a failure of equipment should cost so much. By our estimate, your worker has spent about an hour to make the repair (he staid a bit longer as apparently ‘there was too much fluid in that particular system’, if anything a problem created by your earlier installer as the system has not been touched since you installed it. We had no choice but to sign-up on this repair as it was your installation and no other installer would fix it. So we were at the mercy of your pricing. We think that this is a totally unfair and abusive practice, basically taking us hostage, and we will report the incident to the CT Department of Consumer Protection and any relevant agency.20/20 Air Mechanical Corp. Our prices are quoted up front and reflect the cost of doing business in CT with high customer service and well compensated employees. Any contractor could have done the repair. Your system is a mechanical piece of equipment that we install. We do not manufacture the parts or live in your home to know the usage of your equipment. The system should be maintained on a regular schedule for peak performance. We will note your account that you do not want our service. 20/20 AirReview from Darren S

Wow. Read all the negative reviews below. Totally unethical company. I signed up for an annual HVAC maintenance agreement ($268+ tax). They show up for the first maintenance and then tell me it's $129. Huh? The maintenance agreement covers spring & winter. Well, it's spring. They say I have to wait 6 months (even though they already charged me 2 mths for the plan). So, looks like they wanted $129 + $300 for the plan. Never disclosed. Told them to take a hike, Now, they want to charge me for making a service call even though nothing was done. Obnoxious Jennifer Friedly told me they "don't work for free". Meanwhile, I took a day off work to deal with this fiasco. I don't work for free either. Stay away from these clowns. Nothing but money grubbing hounds and totally rude.20/20 Air Mechanical Corp. ** ***** is not an active customer. He attempted to get a free maintenance on his system by signing up for a maintenance agreement and not paying for his first services which were discounted. He made the appointment, confirmed the appointment and then told the technician when he got to his home he was not paying. He is also incorrect on the cost of our maintenance agreement. We are Senior's and 20 20 took advantage of us. They put a unit that was too big for our house. we gave them 15,000 and the unit has not worked correctly since they installed it. They will not come back to service it. 20 20 has cost us many calls to outside contractors that won't touch the system. I wish someone could keep 20 20 from taking advantage of the elderly. This ordeal with 20 20 Air has been a heartache for us.20/20 Air Mechanical Corp. Response

This installation was done three years ago. Customer has not done any maintenance with our company. The system is 2 years out of labor warranty. We have advised them to contact the manufacturer directly for another contractor as we no longer work on these units.Review from Chuck h

I am a senior that is a victim of elder abuse! I paid 20/20 air in new milford $9000.00 and less than 60 days later they want $69.00 plus tax and travel to repair it. I was told I have a year warranty by the owner! The experience makes my wife and I sick ! I should have known better ! They installed 3 thermostats before they found one that worked this one has now failed! Now less than 60 days later they are going for the kill! I was recommended to them by a friend of the owner I should have known better20/20 Air Mechanical Corp. Response

We have spoken to this customer multiple times and have been sent pictures of the satisfied thermostat which is working properly. We have offered the customer on numerous occasions an appointment to review the settings and functionality which would be $69 plus tax. If there is a malfunction that cost would be waived. They have declined all efforts and hang up on us when speaking to them.Customer Response

I will hire a ****** dealer to access the problem !if he finds nothing wrong I will pay the bill, If he finds problem 20/20 will pay the bill! How fair is that? 20/20 air is not a ****** approved dealer yet he sold it and installed it wrong I say let a real ****** dealer check it out so I can get some good out of the $9000 taken from me by 20/20 air mechanicalCustomer Response

20/20 air is unwilling to repair the problem they left my wife and I with to me they are predators on seniors !
