This review involves United Van Lines and its local carrier Ace Van & Storage (located in Connecticut). My cross country move was supposed to be delivered on September 1, 2021. Not only did United and Ace not let me know of a two week delay of my belongings (per United's own Rights & Responsibilities posted on their website), but no one could tell me where my belongings were for over two weeks. I was living in an empty apartment and I never received a call from Ace letting me know any updates on where my things were or when I could even expect to receive them. I finally had to reach out to United corporate, which gave me conflicting information. Finally, I looked on my bill of lading and found the local delivery carrier in **********. I contacted them and finally was able to locate my things and set up a time for delivery - two weeks after my guaranteed date. I spoke to the owner of Ace Van and Storage who claims they did nothing wrong, even though I had to call them every day for two weeks (including the two days prior to my scheduled move in date, because no one let me know my move-in date was not going to be met) and was never updated with any information except emails that said "I dont know what to tell you." For two weeks I was stuck living in an empty apartment with no follow up or indication of what was going on or where my things even were. In addition, I was told at the estimate stage, if I could push my move-in date a few weeks to mid-September, it would be off-season and cheaper. I said that I needed to move in Sept. 1 because of a job - so I believe that United/Ace booked it, knowing that they couldn't deliver it on time, charged me the higher price, and then I was only entitled to $100 a day per my bill of lading, and they still likely made more off of this. This was one of the worst experiences of my life and definitely the worst customer service - a company that does not adhere to its own "Rights & Responsibilities" documentation.

We were very satisfied with the movers. They were efficient and were careful about protecting the furniture. I would highly recommend this business.

We’ve used Ace twice now, and they’re incredibly good. Professional, careful movers, prompt, friendly, knowledgeable. Would recommend them highly.
