They should be out of business! When you have a bathroom done by them as I did and get black mold behind fiberglass what does that tell you! Not done correctly! Pictures say a thousand words Ken wouldn’t answer my questions! He had to say to me that I said he caused black mold ? Well if the job was done correctly I would not of had another company do a repair in one day! It’s sad he’s a hot head ! If he read correctly I said black mold causes Cancer not him! On top of that I never had anything saying to re caulk every 2- years REALLY? So all his work needs to be re caulked? I have not heard anything good about Baybrook people are hanging banners stating Don’t use Baybrook!!! Well I wasn’t going to use his company again if they didn’t do the job correctly. Talk to others before they do any work!

On August 2nd, 2002, Baybrook entered into a contract with this customer to remodel a bathroom at ***** ****** **** ****** ** *or $10,140.00. The customer purchased her own plumbing fixtures from ****** plumbing on August 2nd, 2002. This purchase included a four-piece fiberglass tub shower unit manufactured by ********. On or about September 2nd, 2002, Baybrook pulled a building permit # ***** and a mechanical permit # ****** On September 10th, 2002, we gutted the bathroom. On October 10th, 2002, we finished painting the bathroom. On or around October 2nd, 2002, the customer created a project punch list. Baybrook Remodelers received partial final payment on December 5th, 2002 The balance of $150 was never paid and was written off as bad debt. Over the next twenty-one years, Baybrook Remodelers Inc. successfully serviced 17,600 transactions. On January 5, 2023 the customer called our office to report that Baybrook incorrectly installed her tub/shower unit resulting in massive amounts of mold that caused her husband to pass away in 2021. On January 17th, 2023, at 3 pm, I visited the customer at her home to inspect her bathroom. I did not see any signs of mold. I did not smell any mold. She informed me that I installed her fiberglass tub shower unit without any backing. It was screwed directly to the studs. I asked her if she had a mold test done. She said she had but did not want to share the results. She then requested that Baybrook price remodeling the bathroom. On January 25th, 2023, the customer called our office and asked that we do not price her bathroom remodeling work. On February 7th, 2023 she called the office demanding that Baybrook pay her $9,000. I explained to her that the tub shower unit was installed correctly directly to the studs. I also asked her if she ever re-caulked the seams in the tub shower. Her response was no. On February 8th, 2023, the customer posted the following on social media This was in ********* Neighborhood I'm here to brag! I had Baybrook due my bathroom in 2001 which never arrived on time, has mourons working for them, I kept getting respiratory problems, well guess what black mold! Which is Cancerous! I was sick no have respiratory problems! If you need a great bathroom redone, come see mine!!!tell them I recommended **** *******He's your man to talk to!?????? The customer had her bathroom remodeled, and her contractor did not pull a permit. This means whatever work was done is now under the permit Baybrook pulled in September of 2002. It also means that a building official did not inspect the new bathroom work. On March 15th, 2023 Baybrook Remodelers Inc. received a complaint from the DCP concerning this customer. The pictures accompanying the complaint show that the drywall and studs behind the tub shower unit are mold-free. There are no signs of water stains. The installation completed by Baybrook Remodelers Inc. twenty-one years ago did not fail or leak .The building official inspected and passed the bathroom project in 2002. There is no sign of mold. The black guck shown in the pictures supplied by the customer is limited to the tub shower rim only. There is no evidence that it is mold; if it is mold, it is not enough to cause harm or death.
