We contracted with Dilley floors for the third time to perform hardwood refinishing. The scope of work was spelled out and we decided on a particular finish based off their recommendations. We advised the owner Roberto we would be away in April and he agreed this would allow perfect timing as we could not live in the home during renovations. He kept us informed the entire scope of the job until it came to the final product. He agreed to try staining a sample area and providing pictures so we can okay the work and this was never done. We asked again as we were excited to see the progress and received nothing. We returned home yesterday to find a disaster. The agreed upon finish came out completely different than we were told. The house was left very messy with fingerprints and stain on every single wall. I now must contract a company to clean and paint virtually every wall baseboard My family heirloom marble table was used as a workbench after we explicitly said it is to be carefully looked after. When we called to say we were not happy Roberto took our call and said he would call back. Now he will not reply to any calls or texts at all. This is completely unacceptable and we were not delivered the agreed upon product. This is completely unprofessional and appalling after being such a good company to work with two other times. I expect Dilley floors to come out immediately and fix the entire job to what we agreed upon originally.
