My dryer vent was cleaned on 10/07/23 and after it was cleaned the dryer has never worked again. I contacted the company about the issue and was told that someone would come by to look at it. After 3 scheduled times and no shows they finally came and said the vent was not working properly and could replace it at no charge. I asked if this had happened before and the answer was “yes”. I had done some research and saw that after getting the vent cleaned dryers could stop heating if there is and issues with the vent itself So I bought a new vent “just -in- case “. While the company inspected the vent I was told that other tools were needed and the repair person left to come back the next day. The next day was also a no show. On Thursday 10/19/23 they came back and basically said our dryer had not been working for years and that the heating element was broken and that the vent is not properly installed. They said they could fix it at an extra charge .. obviously after this we did not want anything else being done by this company. No prior inspection was completed prior to cleaning the vent with bristles that went from the outside of the house to the inside. No issues were ever addressed or questioned prior to doing the cleaning. I’m looking for the company to replace my dryer as it was completely their fault my dryer stopped working. The dryer was working 100% prior to it being cleaned and we never had an issues. Outdoor vent was left not put back together
