person may be sentenced to a term of imprisonment of more than of one
According to State of Connecticut: A Misdemeanor is a "crime that carries a maximum penalty of one year and/or a $2,000 fine."
According to Wikipedia: "Larceny is a crime involving the unlawful taking of the personal property of another person."
Motor Vehicle | Traffic Warrants
Refers to an arrest warrant issued by the court for non payment of a traffic
citation or obligation associated with the operation of a
moving/non-moving motor vehicle.
Domestic Disputes | Domestic Violence
We provide bonding services for all domestic disputes noted! As outlined
by Wikipedia: Domestic disputes or "Domestic violence, also known as domestic abuse,
spousal abuse, battering, family violence, dating abuse, and intimate
partner violence, is a pattern of behavior which involves the abuse by
one partner against another in an intimate relationship such as
marriage, cohabitation, dating or within the family. Domestic violence
can take many forms, including physical aggression or assault (hitting,
kicking, biting, shoving, restraining, slapping, throwing objects,
battery), or threats thereof; sexual abuse; emotional abuse; controlling
or domineering; intimidation; stalking; passive/covert abuse (e.g.,
neglect); and economic deprivation."
We provide bonding for juvenile matters! The State of Connecticut defines
Juvenile matters as any case that involves a criminal act by a person
under the age of 16. Note: these bail bonds require a parent/legal
Violation of Probation | aka VOP Warrant
When a person AKA Convicted Offender is given probation, defined by the
State of Connecticut as "a suspended term of incarceration supervised by
a probation officer for a period of time set by a judge," and such
probation is violated an arrest warrant usually follows. And so a new
bail bond is set which needs to be posted! This bail amount is
determined the the court/probation department.
Failure to Appear Warrants (FTA)
We handle SOME bail bonds for Failure to Appear. However, NOT all "FTA"
bail bonds are approved. All are considered, reviewed and executed on a
per case basis. As to a proper definition of such, the State of
Connecticut defines a Criminal Failure to Appear as failing to come to
court for a scheduled hearing. Which can decrease the possibility of any
bonding agency posting such bail bond.
Driving Under the Influence | DUI
We handle all bail bonds for Driving under the influence (DUI), driving
while intoxicated (DWI), drunk(en) driving, drink driving, operating
under the influence, drinking and driving, or impaired driving. Per
definition, Wikipedia defines DUI as a "crime of driving a motor vehicle
with blood levels of alcohol in excess of a legal limit."
Sale and/or Possession of an Illegal Substance
We handle all matters involving illegal substances! The bonding procedure
is the same and the substance quantity seized is irrelevant. The
definition for the underline offense can be easily assumed. However,
Wikipedia defines this illegal substance as a "controlled substance
generally a drug or chemical whose manufacture, possession, or use is
regulated by a government."
Possession of a Firearm W-O Permit
We service individuals arrested for having a firearm, pistol, rifle etc. without a permit to carry.
Burglary | Breaking & Entering | Housebreaking
Bail Bond service available for Burglary, Breaking & Entering, and
Housebreaking arrests. Per Wikipedia definition, such crime involves the
illegal entry into a building for the purposes of committing an
offense. Usually that offense will be theft.
Robbery | Armed Robbery | Aggravated Robbery
Bail Bonding services offered for defendants arrested for Robbery. Wikipedia
defines this as the "crime of taking or attempting to take something of
value by force or threat of force or by putting the victim in fear."
Assault & Battery
The Assault and Battery category can be associated with domestic disputes.
However, for the purpose of unknown parties, Wikipedia defines "Assault
and battery as the combination of two violent crimes: assault (the
threat of violence) and battery (physical violence).
We DO NOT handle bail bonds for immigration arrests. HOWEVER, if an
individual whose identity is at question DOES NOT have an "Immigration
DETAINER," and is being detained at a Connecticut Local Jail/police
department, we can execute such bond under a number of conditions.
These can include the addition of property or financial collateral.
NOTE: if the individual is being held by federal immigration
authorities, we CANNOT post such bail bond.
We offer bonding services for many other violations. If NOT listed, don't worry! Cal Us Today for a free bail bond consultation.
